After a year and a half of trying to conceive with my Husband, I became pregnant. We were so over joyed and prayed "your will be done Lord.". Soon after, I found out I miscarried. I cried and called out to God and said "It is well with my soul.". No matter what struggle we are going through never forget that God's will is just and good. I praise the Lord even in my sorrows. And I thank Jesus for giving me even just one moment to be the Mommy to a beautiful soul. I love my sweet baby in Heaven and can't wait to meet him or her someday. Psalm 18:2 has given me such peace! *Edit* Praise Report: I'm 19 weeks pregnant with our beautiful little boy. God is Faithful on every promise! Please never give up hope.

Superfly Samoan My son, then 8 was run over by a 6 wheel dump truck. We drove to the children's hospital 50 miles away Wondering if he was still alive. I was praying in the Spirit the whole time and told God that my son really belonged to Him and no matter what, I will trust in him. This song then came singing in my mind and for the first time I cried. Not in dispair, but in awe of God's mercy through Jesus Christ.

I had heard this song before, I needed to find it this morning again so badly. It helped me through momma's fast moving cancer and sudden death. I have been going through so many things, and needed momma to talk to this morning. While lying here crying, I remembered this song. No matter what happens IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. And that it’s sung by a group from Brigham Young University, which is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints? The whole song is about the “invisible man”.

I asked the Lord for a vehicle to traverse my soul to a place of rest...and this song was the first thing that came to my mind ❤ The suffering I've endured, both external and internal, is my lot, and He shares it with me, and carries me when I can barely carry myself, let alone the burden. This beautiful song has special meaning to me. Last year 3 of our children got divorced. When the third one came to me and told me my soul felt like I was in a battle ground worrying about my grand children. One early morning the spirit whispered the melody and words "It is well, it is well with my soul" I woke up singing the phrase. I had never heard this song before. I googled the phrase and found the story of Horatio Spafford. From his pain and anguish he reached deep into his testimony of Christ to move forward from his loss. I realized that I had not suffered that kind of loss and this song has given me peace in accepting the things I cannot change and to move forward in Faith. I was ecstatic when I found that Vocal Point (my favorite A capella group sang this song!!!! Thank you guys it's such a feast to listen to it!

Five million views now. I think two million of them are me. I can’t stop watching. This was my grandmother’s favorite hymn. And there is something in both of my eyes....

I did not know that “a cappella” could make this beautiful harmony. As I've listened as many times that I had, I start to appreciate more for the gentleman in the middle, humming along to make the perfect music.

WOW.... I closed my eyes, and with the surround sound, I felt like I was in my local church...

I woke this morning with this song in my heart. It was played often in the little church I grew up in and hearing it always brought me peace. I sang in the choir of a Southern Baptist Church for many years. As an alto, I loved to sing the the call and response of the chorus. The meaning of the words and beautiful melody and harmony make this my favorite hymn.

I didn't know much about the back story of this hymn but knew it was one of my father's favorites. We're currently 10 days out from five years ago I sang this hymn at his funeral and in looking up videos to practice I found the back story. It's become one of my favorites now as well with the sudden loss of my wife followed by my father 13 months to the day I have to put my faith in Him and trust I will see them all again.

I love the way the shape of their ears, allow them to hear & sing with perfect pitch.

No matter what happens....whenever I am in distress or I am stressed or just not feeling myself, I play this. I pray to God about it (sometimes to be honest) and I always felt that God too would not be interested in listening to my prayers....but in a Bible Study I heard that no matter what happens God is always listening. Hence, no matter what happens I take it to the Lord in prayer. He is that one friend that will listen to you and not laugh or shut you off but he will sit with you and listen to you, he will wipe off your tears and open a way just for you. Never lose hope, take it to the Lord in prayer and no matter how small or big your prayer is God will listen to it. Have Faith in Christ and that’s all you will ever need to be Happy. 😇

I always cry when I hear this hymn. Knowing the story behind it and the faith this man had in God makes it so real. I’m crying now. So, yeah. Thanks for that.

I must say, I'm not thrilled with the Morman Church, but BYU vocal point is most excellent, & I do keep coming back to this song often for uplifting, and in my time of need. So very well done, BYU/vocal point. Upon reflection, the US has been a haven for many religions to find sanction. I am so grateful to be living in this kind of democracy.

This particular groujp of Men, these voices, are the best "Vocal Point" that has ever come out of BYU. They are just astounding. And all gone now. Sad.

I can listen to this over and over again! One of my favorite hymns! Y'all are amazing! I got baptized as a LDS back in December 2016! I love my Heavenly Father, and I love my church!

They did not sing it because, as Mormons, they do not believe it. Sadly, they have altered a beautiful gospel hymn to suit their false doctrine.

As a Mormon myself, I can say we do believe that we can be forgiven through the Atonement. I love this verse as well. I think the reason they cut it out is because they only needed three verses: one for Logan, one for Kyle, and one for the amazing key change. So, they picked the ones that most suited their message, as well as the harmonies in the song itself.

I too am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon is a nickname they gave us almost 200 years ago). You may never see this good Christopher, but still I respond as a second testimony- we do believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, our Rescuer, the Only freedom from sin. As indicated by the name of our church, he is our Head and our Hope- our everything. Hope deeply I love Him and what he has done to rescue us all!

Beautiful. One of my favorite hymns written who still displayed a tremendous amount of faith after suffering a tremendous loss.
