With the brain power like Dr. Obiaraeri, all that Nigeria is really missing is leadership at the helm.

Talk about practical solutions and low hanging fruits. The potential is enormous. Smart gentleman.

Our problem in nigeria is never ideas or solutions but rather the sincerity and willingness to do the right things. The few benefitting from the rot would rather the decay continues ,while most of the rest are praying & hoping for their turn to benefit from the rot.

Can they please stop bringing him to talk on TV? I get infuriated each time he appears on the screen. My mental health deteriorates further and my frustration with Nigeria is escalated. How can our political leaders know the solutions to our problems but choose not to apply them? It is sickening. Thanks, Doc for all you do for this nation. I see the passion with which you talk about solutions. I can imagine your pains and frustration with the system.

He is from the south east so his points are not taken , I hope we grow beyond tribe so we can always see truth for the sake of truth. Fixing Nigeria is not rocket science , our govt isnt ready yet , even me that knows nothing about economics know that our problems lay in the foundation and d govt isn't ready to get down to foundation, the many econometrics of this govt will continue to struggle with the foundational problems unresolved.and this problems are actually a medium of creating employment by goverment instead of givijg handouts to d citizens ,making us even lazier without address any rotten foundation.

To solve Nigeria problems you dnt need to be educated is very simple, what we need is sincere people

One of the best pieces of advice this man gave is the introduction of whistle Blowers. The whistle blowers should get 25 percent of the money collected by the whistle blower. Every Nigerians will become an FCC agent. That is brilliant. Corruption will end.

Building village mansions and conducting elaborate funerals are not productive ways of harnessing the cumulative economic might of those of us abroad. Like most things in life, this opportunity is fleeting. Those of us from the 1970 to 1990 wave are getting old and dying. That's natural! The money we can remit is tiny compared to the experiences and knowledge that we can bring back to Nigeria/Africa. Those in diaspora don't know everything, of course. Brilliant submissions but nothing can work well without steady power supply. Businesses, HOSPITALS, schools, modern farms, homes, BANKS, ALL need power. As long as steady electricity is still an option and not a necessity we haven’t started oh. Having steady power will also help to kill corruption because we can maintain digital records of all transactions. The money being stolen will be used to maintain the power grid, the hospitals, schools, etc. it will help to increase farm revenues and food security because at least with steady power the farmers can have better means of storing farm produce before the food gets to the markets. Even financial transactions need steady power supply. Imagine what happens if there is no power and the bank doesn’t have a backup generator, what then? Nigeria is very very sick. God help us.

He remains the best governor Anambra had. If you knew how schools were closed for 2 years dues to embezzlement of salaries and pensions you will cry. Today your pension and gratuity is processed shortly after ur retirement. Google it and see what he did in education without borrowing a dime and recently Anambra won in the ICT competition, go and verify. The hospitals functioned very well because he extended funding to private hospitals and they competed, i know of our Lady of Lourdes hospital Ihiala that is still booming with infrastructures today. Cacharis, cutix cables, innoson motors and etc were patronised to stand and employ many indigenous workers while he built roads for them too. You closed ur eyes not to see that he left about 75billion on for the state which was used by Obiano to build airport. Peter Obi built the Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching hospital and did the accreditation after building the main campus at Igbariam. Do you know how many people these facilities have employed and the revenues from them? Please before you speak next time take a bath from religious and ethnic bias to be clean and have points to discuss. I am also ready to answer questions about his govt in Anambra with facts.

Ex-CBN governor Godwin Emefiele’s fiscal policy, double exchanges: Official & Parallel markets & throwing Naira into open free market floating, & NNPCL Mele Kyari failures to refurbished to maximum capacity before fuel subsidy was arbitrary removed, caused present sky-rocketing foods & essential goods prices. Price control boards will go a long way to reduced rising foods & daily needs prices across Nigeria.
