After surviving the mountain pass and the treacherous road journey in the dark that followed it, Gareth and Darren had planned to be in Reykjavik ready to collect Martin our official ‘Norse Bound’ Photographer from the airport. However, with his plane due to land at 11am, they were still 8 hours away. A cross-country trek from coast to coast ensues to finally get the expedition up and running, free from the unforgiving mercies of the winter weather. Will they make it in time?
