Take look at Al Qods and the Damascus strike. Over the last decade Saudis, UAE have been attacked. Interference with unarmed commercial vessels, reconaisance drones in international waters, supporting all kinds of militia. Plus nuclear games. US under Biden did try to improve relations, but the crazies have taken over. Most Arab states are against their meddling in the Middle East. Iran is in the crosshairs. It is a matter of time.

It was a show of force. Only fools would respond with a strike of their own. Those 300 projectiles will be replaced with volleys of 1,000. Israeli air defense failed miserably in the task of deflecting a few ballistic missiles. Even the coalition of USA, Frace, Jordan and UK couldn't defend against an attack the was mostly decoys.

This is just an assumption, but I think Israel is too confident that they have the military power to go war against Iran. And Netanhayu wont dare to do such aggresive move if he doesn't have the best plans in place including on the defensive and offensive whenever a conflict arises (which was happening right now).
