On one hand Israel says that they are negotiating to reach an agreement and eventually ceasefire and on other hand Netanyahu says even if a deal is reached , still they are going to invade rafah and then blinken pre assuming that if a deal is not reached , it would be because of hamas . If Rafah invasion will push through with or without a ceasefire then the truce is not important, the minister's statement proved that their war goal is far more important that the life of the hostages, and besides Palestinians in isreal prison have a land to return to.

Blinken better remember that he said that if Hamas does not accept the deal, as it has been rejecting every one for the last few months, they would be totally to blame. In that case, the world would have no more excuses to prevent the IDF from going into Rafah ASAP.

Why can't the Israelis understand Benjamin Netanyahu's pathetic dilemma with regard to the hostages held by Hamas militants in Gaza. He has given Hamas opportunities for a peaceful solution. But typical of Hamas, the leaders just want Israel to stop attacks but are not prepared to release all the hostages for peace. If Netanyahu gives into Hamas 'one side' overture, Israel is the loser and Hamas will celebrate and get bolder.

Netanyahu is on his way out..very unpopular, war crimes, ICJ ruling as genocide, ICC arrest warrant imminent, millions of protesters globally, its so bad the 1000s of Isrealis took the stteet in protest to have him removed from office.
