The armour with active protection systems can't have troops protecting them as well because the protection system involves shooting high explosives in unpredictable directions. Thats the main downside of active protection. The footage of lots of troops with armour is probably the reservist elements behind the professional units. The reserve units use older armour.

Completely the opposite of the reality of the trophy. The Trophy ADS was specifically designed from the outset with that exact issue in mind. That is why it was chosen over the “Iron Fist” which does cause the kind if peripheral damage/injuries that you are talking about. The Trophy does not fire an explosive projectile. It fires a “ball” of razor sharp shrapnel directly at the incoming warhead and intercepts it EXACTLY perfectly by impacting the warhead of the projectile per se, shredding it, sometimes causing the warhead to explode sometime not. Sometimes the warhead is simply ripped apart or heavily deformed so as not to be able to cause a shaped charge to form etc…. Look it up for more info.

IDF is smart to withhold their video footage. Ukraine made a big mistake releasing their footage rather than keeping their drone usage secret. It has lost some of its effectiveness and Russia has incorporated this tactic. Don't tell the enemy what you're doing till after you've won.

This isn't ideal, but its hard getting decent footage that's not all pieced together. so while we don't have a ton of footage from ALL different vantage points, this is still quite a lot of good visuals. More than most channels have, including the "legacy media" I see the pain they are all going through, though we've known for sometime this was going to happen, doesn't make it any easier to watch. But we have to, we can't look away and pretend it doesn't exist. God bless us all...

that trophy system is so OP all western tanks need it

The Israeli's are handling urban combat better than I thought they would. Also unless its a shaped warhead. You might aswell take a piss on a Merkava tank for all the good it will do. Setting IEDs ontop of a tank is pointless aswell. Hamas seems to be running out of trained terrorists.
