Cruz reminds me of the old Spanish super bantam and featherweight world champion Kiko Martinez. Kiko was a pressure boxer that was up in your face throwing power hooks, much like Cruz does as a lightweight today.

It's entertaining to watch Cruz throwing power hooks at this high rate all the fight through. He has enormous cardio, those hooks was not loosing much power from first to last round. Kudos to Vargas, managing to take this much to the body and head, and he had a few good punches delivered down the middle that Cruz really felt. Cruz carries his Pitbull name good.

Also Cruz has a good KO ratio. This just proves the othwr guy wasn't a bad fighter at all. Had some calibre.

Yo creo lo mismo, se me hace muy simple . Pega recio pero tira muchos golpes esperando dar uno de suerte. Me aburre su boxeo. Pero esperemos mejore su tecnica.
