If Yveltal ever gets an exclusive move, it would most likely be its signature move, Oblivion Wing. If implemented accurately from the main series games using POGO's mechanics, this move would most likely be a hybrid of Hurricane and Skull Bash, i.e. a high-damage flying-type charge move with a guaranteed self-defense buff. This would most likely be an upgrade in PvP and, if it's a higher-damage PvE charge move than Hurricane, an upgrade on the flying attacker front as well.

Been running a level 40, 98 Yveltal in GO Battle League for like a year now and it does come in very clutch with the right support.

As for players who have no good shadows and as you can have only one mega evolution at a time I think Yvetal is a good darktyp attacker for raids. Maybe you don't need it at lvl 50 but a lvl 40 will do a good job. If you take the mentioned lists from the video und exclude megas and shadows it ranks good for a normal legendary pokemon. So to have 1 or 2 good Yvetal is a nice addition to Hydreigon and Darkrai atm.

Thank you so much for the input TC! One concern though. I came back to the game after not playing since around 2017. I missed out on a lot of important com days. Including the Deino one. I don't have access to a plethora of Brutal Swing Hydregions. For that reason I will be raiding Yveltal. He also has a cool shiny. ;)

To follow up on the unova stone. I mentioned last time i think it might be sierra. So i tried with full egg slots and im 99% sure i got it from sierra however the 1% doubt is im not sure it is possible i came from a poke stop so if its not possible to come from poke stops then the best odds to get a unove is with no egg slots available and fight sierra

I don't have any good dark types, so I'll be grinding this for sure.

I mean if you look at it as Yveltal being the 3rd best non-mega, non-shadow, non-special form then it's worth it. Same still if you consider it the 4th best just non-mega, non-shadow. Right now we don't have Ash Greninja, so right now it is the 3rd best dark type attacker non-mega, non-shadow.

I say yeah regardless the top dark attacker is brutal swing Hydreigon, in which I do have a Hundo one that I caught on Comday that I plan to max out soon as well. However Yvetal is not just a dark attacker, it is also a decent flying attacker, so because of it's dual usage makes it worth it to max out, and come on who wouldnt want to max out a shiny one of those bad boys with atleast 93%-100% IVs, to lvl 50, and make best buddy. I know I'm going to go hard for a shiny within that Iv range

Unfortunately I don't have any Mega dark type Pokemon to boost candies gained, but I do have a few good dark types already, but not nearly as good as Yveltal will be

I'mma max it out for sure, just cuz it's my favorite pokemon and my favourite shiny.

What if it gets oblivion wing?

Yvaltal has clapped me up in Master League before. It just feels like the juice isn’t worth the squeeze when it comes to powering up a pokemon for Master League compared to investing in Great League

Pokémon Go should start a 6 Star Raid that takes 10-20 trainers to complete that gives you level 40-50 Pokémon. That would be super cool and also incentivize a lot more people to raid.

Game Press completely redid their top attacker list and regular Tyrantitar was removed from the dark list. Yveltal is gonna be good for people who need good dark types that aren’t shadows or megas.

can use the flying type to kill fighting types if your up against one.

I stopped playing or a while so this has to be my dark type attacker.. Don't have a hydreigon or darkrai.

I want a maxed one for MLO.

The thing is I use Yveltal as flying to counter fighting

Yvetal is good if u don't have alot if flyer or dark moves

I’m going to have to disagree. In ML EVERYONE used MewTwo. Yveltal is an absolute monster. You see so many more Yveltals in the upper tier ML trainers’ lineups.

Nah, wooper is better :) One of them is a god of death and can slaughter entire armies in nuzlockes, evolves into one of the most versatile mons in competitive gaming, has excellent type coverage and a solid movepool, knows how to surf, strength, rock climb which can clear a lot of obstacles and so much more. The other is Yveltal, a bacon with wings

Like some other commenters I have to disagree with your conclusions that it isn't meta in Dark or Flying. Two reasons. First, you can only use one mega. So rankings shouldn't count megas other than whichever one you're going to use. The mega is one and the rest might as well not exist. Second, shadows are something hardcore players use but most players don't. I don't necessarily think they should be excluded but acting like its not good because there are four shadows that are better isn't welcoming to the average player. Imo, since its around 4th best non mega non shadow, which makes it very meta. How much you level it up is a personal choice. But I would want one with decent IVs and would power it up to whatever extent is realistic for your playing style.

Yeah totally agree, I like billy but when it comes to PvP he has no idea. Yveltal is a superstar mon in the ML !!!
