Whenever an ex tries to make me jealous through social media immediately after a breakup, I honestly take it as a compliment lol. So concerned about showing the world and me that they've moved on, when deep down inside they are only doing it because I'm still on their mind. There's more to this than just rebounding. It's all about pre-selection, which I've discussed in greater detail in the first part of the video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mINtp8eJc924mpc.html The aim is to increase your confidence by socializing and to subconsciously know that there is life outside of the relationship/breakup and to get out of the tunnel-vision mentality most people have after a breakup that only their ex can fix it. So interact with people. It may be just on a friendship level, camaraderie, bonding over a new sport/hobby/activity, etc. and not restricted to just dating, perhaps I should've emphasized that, too, as I can see how it can easily be misconstrued. But if you do get around to dating someone that you truly like, then that’s good, as it would help to let you not seem desperate to get your ex back, which most exes can sense from a mile away, mind you. Anyway thanks for your input! :-)

If they’re trying to make you jealous. Just go into No contact. Pulling back is the key to re attraction. If they reach out, DO NOT ignore them, just match the same level of energy they’re giving you. If they say they miss you, tell them you miss them too. Just keep at that though. If they don’t say they miss you, be vague in your response. They have to be the ones to drive towards you at this point. I’m fighting this battle right now, good luck out there everyone. It totally relates with the first point. Before we broke up, she hardly post anything on what's app or Facebook but now her behavior has changed and she's starting to act really strange.Most of her post is about her crush, I don't understand why she's acting weird suddenly. That's not her behavior when she's with me.

After five years of leaving my ex girlfriend I have to admit how much I want to thank you Brad. The best thing is indeed to just move on and never wait for your ex to come back. You were one of the first I found on KZread with lots of tips, in December 2018. Now when I look back at that dark period of 2018 I am happy that I moved on quickly, no matter how hard it was. Its similar with quitting smoking and getting over it, which I have did last year too. I am looking fresh to the future now for years and got some nice girls I am friends with now. A relationship isn't important, it is more important to improve yourself and being the best version of yourself to other females.

What does it mean when your ex calls another girl cute in front of you

2 months ago my ex of 4 years dumped me. Not long after she started posting non stop pictures on snapchat of everything from going to the bar to just watching TV when she never did that before. About a week ago she had texted me out of nowhere and after talking for a little, says she was out hanging out with a bunch of guys and had a blast and what not. She had told me wanted to be friends and was over me, "happy we broke up" i said I wanted space to try and move on. She doesnt text me really but showed concern that I deleted her snapchat. Is she trying to make me jealous and has feelings or am I over analyzing?

Not necessarily jealously but after a week of no contact he’s reached out by text the last 2 days. It feels like he’s trying to get an emotional rise out of me. Is this normal? I’ll really never meet a better girl because she’s always been the best in every way to me. I can’t figure out how talk to her now other then when she needs something from me. She just acts nice but ends the conversation as quick as possible.

Hey Brad! It feels like my ex is using many of those things that you're talking about against me even tho she was the one who broke up with me. For example she is posting more pitchers on Instagram then before and she is writing that she is happen and everything feel sooooo good. She also try to show the world that she is meeting a lot of people and even at one point she posted a story on Instagram when she was with some dude and they were playing tennis. I have been contacting here like 1 time in 5 weeks and when i did i told here that we should talk and that I want this to be official. however as i said earlier is there any chance she is using this to get me back even tho she broke up with me? You're putting too much emphasis on social media and it means you need to stop looking, especially reaching a point of obsession, at any of your ex's pages, and especially if you're still on the 30-day "no contact" phase. Doing so will not only make you overanalzye and/or worry over the most inconsequential stuff, but you'd also be consumed about thoughts of your ex when this time is supposed to be about YOU. The thing is, there's really that desperation vibe that you're giving off every time you contact ex. Play your cards right and notice the world of difference that this can make. Stick to the "no contact" rule this time. A situation with an ex is often fragile, so you'd really want to omit, if not minimize these mistakes. Start with the 30-day straight "no contact rule. It’s one step forward, two steps backward with an ex & there are no unlimited chances with them, so if you can do it right moving forward, then do so. Brad I've been with my wife for 18. She asked me to leave the house 2 weeks before Christmas I put myself in the men's shelter and a third week she was talking to somebody for a month online and she had him to spend a week with her on Christmas weekend. Me and my boyfriend broke up on New Years. We haven't gone a day without talking wether we are fighting or just having a genuine conversation. We have gone one drives, he has stuck his hand on my leg, her my hand, hugged me, and kissed me. He asks me "you love me don't you?" and would send me snaps saying he can't fall asleep because he knows I'm upset and how he misses me and wants to cuddle. Another big thing is when we go on drives and my phone would buzz his eyes dive down to my phone and says "who is that your boyfriend". Every time would bring up getting back together he says it will never happen and then we start fighting again. Anytime I start to distance myself he always reaches out. Is he doing this to hold onto me in case he doesn't find someone better? I am going crazy here and trying not to get hurt even further than I already am. It's time to find a more positive outlet for your emotions. It's totally okay to cry your eyes out (just NOT in front of your ex), this is healthy, but try to balance it with other stuff. So keep your mind occupied, get busy with a lot of stuff like hobbies, work, etc. focus on what makes you feel good and take time to heal as well. Your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. My ex and I became friends again after not seeing each other for a few months. He's been dating a girl he met online for over a year or two. Friends for now, but don't let that derail you, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part and assuming you hadn't taken a long time before taking the step. Since you've only recently reconnected, then don't expect your ex to warm up easily. Getting an ex back is a process. Look out for the signs that your ex has moved on, though: y2u.be/TnZzeEIPEik But evaluate things, too. Are you sure you're not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It's time to take a look at the bigger picture here. It doesn't really matter what your ex is doing. Chances are your ex is rebounding anyway but the point is you shouldn't be focused on that right now. That's all out of your control. Sure does look like it.

These childish games don't even work, and on top of it his true intentions are coming out, yes he may still love me and want to get back together and realized he's made the blunder of his life but he's not even in a healthy place, nothing genuine and sincere for our well being. He needs to grow up and heal his own mistake within himself and then have goals for the two of us we can build our house on. I'm getting to that health place by being patient and understanding with myself, just talking and being cordial with the new man in my life. I can't give my ex a third chance because look at the route he's choosing to take, it's ghastly. I can't live his life and work on him, when I need to focus on improving myself and to keep myself moving forward, I literally can't do anything for him that he can do for himself. He will find his way one day.

After she jump into a rebound relationship she told me she is just had few dates with him but she thinks she like it.. and then after few weeks she does not like it.. but last weekend she intentionally brought him and friends at the club she new i always go and spend about 15 minutes then they left.. what does this mean?

My ex and I broke up a little over a month ago. We do talk still but it doesn't feel the same. I thought I was moving on because I felt genuinely okay with myself and thought that I'd be okay if we dont get back together. One night last week she started crying and said "part of me wants to let go but part of me still loves you." But the next day she shot it down when I tried to talk to her about it saying "we aren't getting back together". As of a few days ago I mentioned a promise that we made relating to the relationship and she hasn't talked to me since. Shes been showing her status as happy and heart eyes but idk if she got with someone or if she's just trying to make me jealous of how quick she moved on. I need some help, what should I do in this situation?

My gf and I just recently broke up because she started getting to violent with me and I told her I wouldn't put up with that and left. She then deleted me on snapchat (where we regularly spoke) texted me nasty messages and said she wanted to break up and I agreed and haven't spoken to her since. Now a week later she adds be back on snapchat, but says nothing. Is posting stories of her with another guy, and also posting old pics of herself as I know their old because she sent them to me a long time ago. I haven't reacted to any of her snapchat stories cause I think she is trying to get a rise out of me as she can be narcissistic. My question is what should I do? Should I ask why she added me back and hasn't said anything? I love her but can't go to a person like that. I'm so torn. Some advice would be nice. Ty.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it may be to your best interest to move on. The relationship has become toxic due to these repeated abuse and cheating from your ex. I'm sure your ex is having a hard time as well. Getting an ex back is a gradual process, so there's no one-action solution for this. Okay? The "no contact" phase is a good start, so do that first if you haven’t yet, for 30 days. If you have, then I'm glad you've completed it. I have an ex that contacted me 5 times on the course of a month. I did ask her out and although she said yes she told me she lived in another city now. She kept reaching out including my birthday and such. Also kept asking lots of questions about me. Then all of a sudden she randomly mentions that she calls her now boyfriend the same nickname I call one of my bestfriends. Asking then if I still call him the same. Immature little brat I knew very well what she was playing. I never asked to know about her life yet she found a personal reason to mention that to me.

Well, there would be no conversation if you hadn't replied to her, man. Replying to her was your choice, hence, she continues to blab about how she's dating someone new. So sadly, you are part to blame as well. Anyway a key component is to avoid small talk as much as possible, especially during the most critical stage: 30-day "no contact" rule because there's a huge chance your ex may be slowly easing herself away from you.The thing with exes, especially the one whose idea is to break the relationship, is they also struggle with the breakup and finding all means to cope...including talking to someone they're used to talking to, a.k.a you. What were you two fighting about? It's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in your relationship. Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship,as the case with your ex. Why'd you two break up this time? It may be time to put things into perspective because in over a 12 years spent as a relationship coach, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. Like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. You know your situation and your ex best. Sometimes a relationship can be salvaged and worth the save but sometimes it isn't, especially if there's cheating or some other type of abuse involved. It's your life and it's your decision.

It looks like she's on good terms with her other ex. It doesn't signify anything but anything could happen ranging from them just being friends or they're working towards rebuilding their relationship. It's anyone's guess really.

So my ex started talking to my close friends(she’s never talked to them before we dated.) 2 of them blocked her because they said she was flirting with them...and now I have an ex friend because he tried it with her. I think she wanted revenge or something,but she’s the one that said she didn’t want to talk anymore(we broke up and at the time we were FWB) I feel like if I block and unfollow her she’ll keep trying to go for them...idk what to do

Alex Martino I didn’t block her. She moved schools and I just graduated high school a few months ago so things kind of died out with us not seeing each other anymore. She wished me a happy birthday this year which didn’t really surprise me tbh. I contemplated if I should to the same but decided not to. Honestly I’m grateful that she did what she did.. (I learned a lot from this situation). I don’t know if I’ll ever get over what she did to me but it opened my eyes and I’m very grateful for that.

This has happened to me before. My ex-girlfriend trying to make me jealous dancing with another guy at a New year's Eve party but I didn't book because it had no effect on me next thing you know she started calling me names she started talking to her boyfriend about me which made him mad and the next thing you know she calls me and tells me that she wants to go back out with me and since then things have been great between me and her

If this was fairly recent, and assuming you've correctly employed the 30-day "no contact" rule, then that's a normal reaction from your ex. You can send your ex a birthday greeting on her birthday, just make it quick and direct to the point, end the conversation first too because you're busy -- it helps if you really are, so hang out with friends, learn a new skill, etc. Also avoid drama like the plague and don’t get into an argument with your ex at any cost.

I am at my 8 weeks break up with my ex but i am, actually the dumper. I didn't check his FB timeline and use NC because i want to heal as Anxious Preoccupied. But he was deactivated me 10 months ago, and when I started to healing process he still doing that deactivation even after my healing and after i initiated he seldom to reply. After two weeks of a breakup, he try to initiate but I was felt want to get heal first before i connect to him. I used NC and We spoke about the stuff he needs to return. Today I challenge myself to check his FB timeline...and Wow..he is a lot of posts than usual when i was with him in a relationship. He never posted that when he was in a relationship with me on social media and now he announces that he doesn't have gf anymore, he even posted like not every man knows how to initiate a good conversation first, like he felt tired in a relationship, waiting or something. Some of his posts like i felt insulted and some like a victim person in a relationship. I still love him after all. it is not about him.. it's about my healing process though he is DA attachment style.

Maybe stop trying to look at your ex's profile/messages/snaps, posts,etc.? An essential part of the "no contact" rule is to turn your focus inwards for a good 30 days, and looking at what your ex is doing and whatnot largely deviates from that point, don't you think? Sorry Jacob, but it's back to square one for you. Play your cards right and notice the world of difference that this can make. Stick to the "no contact" rule this time. A situation with an ex is often fragile, so you'd really want to omit, if not minimize these mistakes. Start with the 30-day straight "no contact rule. It’s one step forward, two steps backward with an ex & there are no unlimited chances with them, so if you can do it right moving forward, then do so. Yes, your best bet is to cut off contact completely for around a month or even more in order to clear your heads. Your ex would likely come back if you've got your sh*t together than if you were begging/pleading. Well, there are a few rare who take their exes back if you beg/plead but it hardly ever lasts since these people are taking their exes back out of pity. So my point is, don't let your ex take you back out of pity, all right? The best way to avoid that is to work on yourself and get your life together by having fun, hobbies, etc. and to stop chasing your ex. If you're technically broken up, you two don't have any say as to who to add/remove from your social media. Try to release that control and focus on yourself. Otherwise you'd go down the rabbit hole of overanalyzing if you haven't already. Take care of your mental health!

Hi, My situation that happened to me.. I ran into my ex at a bar that I did not know she attends too during the week. I felt as someone was looking at me just couldnt pin point from were while i was enjoying myself with a friend. I turn to get a drink she happen to be standing there with a new individual well they both were looking toward me. She was quick to whisper something to the bartender. Then she removed her self from the bar leaving her friend (aka individual) alone. I ignored the situation at first then became uncomfortable then decided to leave the bar to avoid the awkwardness that began after she returned from the rest room. She was speaking loudly and was looking toward me give a laugh as something was funny was mentioned. Like you had mention in the video about laughing is that a sign of "hey look at me I happy now". I just wanted to ask you did i do the right thing to show i was not interested anymore by leaving with out a care or should of I had stayed and continue to enjoy myself.

You ought to have stayed and continue to enjoy, especially if that's your thing. If bars are not your thing, however, then it would be suspicious why you're there trying to enjoy yourself so I guess the answer is it depends!

I really hate to burst your buble but let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if /he's seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Good luck and I hope you find the right person for you soon!

Hey there Brad, My gf was on vacation and when she came back she just started being cold and broke up with me, first she said its nothing to do with me but then she said its cuz of my character / personality, its a ldr and i see her playing a game adding other males and talking to them for hours in voice chat. It's really bothering me and now all of a sudden she changed her bio to "Now its you and me" and im 100% sure she is not dating someone else, what is the point in making me jealous?

This is a common issue that many wonder, so I suggest you watch this vid coz I covered that here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6ekq8Orc7rRZbA.html Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication. Could be trying to confuse you. This is why, it really doesn't help to look at your ex's posts. So maybe stop trying to look at your ex's profile/messages/snaps, posts, etc.? An essential part of the "no contact" rule is to turn your focus inwards for a good 30 days, and looking at what your ex is doing and whatnot largely deviates from that point, don't you think?

Hey Brad me and my girlfriend broke up a few days ago, everything was going great lots of laughing, joking and teasing we would also smile a lot at each other this went on for about 4 1/2 months then out of the blew she broke it off saying she never really felt a good connection. I’m currently in the limited no contact seeing has I see her once a week. She is 17 almost 18 and I’m 21, I can only hope for a chance to get back with her.

My wife and I separated a month ago it was her call I respected her decision and leaving her alone but Last night she asked me how I was doing? I said I’m okay. Out of the blue she brought out saying there is a guy at her gym that she’s trying to keep up with when running and she was going to back to the gym because he was there. But she never went back to the gym..I’m thinking that’s was weird since when is she trying to make me jealous? When she made the call to separate I didn’t beg her to come back she was taking off late at night and not coming back till the next day. It didn’t bother me at all.I didn’t question her where she was going or who she was spending time with. I pretty much just left her alone and started focusing on myself and my child.. my wife is starting to talk to me again. But still I just communicate with her about our child. Other then that I’m still respecting our separation.

Don't bite into it. It's time to find a more positive outlet for your emotions. It's totally okay to cry your eyes out (just NOT in front of your ex), this is healthy, but try to balance it with other stuff. So keep your mind occupied, get busy with a lot of stuff like hobbies, work, etc. focus on what makes you feel good and take time to heal as well. When things get confusing, it's often best to look at their actions first... especially if you've given it enough time already (8 months). But by now I'd assume that you would've detached from the outcome? I say if you wanna see where things go, then be open or receptive to her but always look at her actions first. Don't initiate contact as well. Go and continue to live your life and become the best version of yourself. Take care!
