2nd time watching this episode from Idaho. I love the difference between want and like pertaining to addiction. It set me and my mind straight in that area. I’m sad too Adele. So, so sad. I’m not certain, I’m taking my time deciding, but I’m thinking my 43 year marriage is over (we were married when we were 18). My husband succumbed to temptation and had an affair last year. It was behavior I never thought he’d succumb to. I see how Satan worked it out and how my husband’s frame of mind at the time was ripe for Satan to attack. Now that our marriage may be over, I picture Satan walking away dusting his hands off saying “my work here is done”. My husband seems sorry, has asked for forgiveness, and seems to be dealing with guilt, shame & remorse. I’ve extended forgiveness, but the trust that has been broken has made me question every day of our marriage. It seems like it’s all been a lie. I’m not sure if I can’t stay married to him. We’ve done hours of counseling and have learned so much about ourselves, each other and are communicating on a level we’ve never had before, but there’s been so much damage from past behavior, not just the affair. I’m not sure I’m able to open myself up and take a chance to be hurt like that again. Please pray for us! And thank you for your time! These videos are really helping us both! I found you from Focus on the Family videos we’ve been watching along with you guys! God bless you and your ministry! ❤
