Tom doesn't strike me as the guy who cares enough to have a relationship with any of his children. His own life, image, goals and maintaining the control he has are far more important.

I'm always struck at how no one looks at this from Katie's POV. People get so caught up in criticizing Tom for not having a relationship with Suri but if I'd been in her place, I'd thank God every day that my controlling, psychopathic ex left my daughter and I to live our lives freely. I'm also quite positive that the divorce settlement negotiated an anti-harassment/no contact rule so that Tom and Co$ would suffer monetarily if they were caught spying, intruding, or influencing in any way.

My understanding is that Katie went to great lengths to in effect " escape" from Tom. It took some serious and very carefully timed planning on her part, with the help of her Father. From what I understand, she was being watched/monitored to some degree by various members of the cult. I would imagine she is more than happy that she and her Daughter could begin to live a normal life again ❤

Tom is different...he’s a guy who wants to be seen as a good guy. He’s not a priest. He’s not teacher. He’s an icon for Scientology. And for that, he’s got privileges. I don't think he'll ever leave, & he doesn't care much about his kids. He choose the "church" over family. He's the poster boy of deadbeat dads. He pays child support, but he hasn't any contact with them. He's a horrendous monster, & I think the kids are better off without him around.
