It depends on the family and the dynamic between family members. I know people whose family disowned them and friends of mine who are estranged from their parents and siblings because thier families were abusive.

Amanda's mother is not from the M KIingston Clan. But her father's other wives were sisters. A d one kf her father's other wives is his gald sister. Although, I suggest watching the full video and Amanda's video on Cults to Conciousness which explains the lineage.
