Your descriptions are spot on and I agree 100%. Every single one you showed was modified with zero good taste. Not a single one has modifications that flowed very well together. It would be awesome if the owners saw your video. Some people in the car world do not know they are doing a bad job unless they are told. The people that owned the vehicles in the video maybe did ask friends or family if their car looked good and everybody lied to them in order to not hurt their feelings. I was raised in a car enthusiasts family we keep it honest with each other and would let somebody know some modifications are a bad idea.

Hi Lucy the biggest fault is definitely the design of the v6 Diesel engine. There have been so many reports of these engines failings

First Range just went to Halfords for a quick shop. As they said. Came out with everything.

Guilty secret...I like the Rippy and the shiny rosé one....If I was Rod Stewart they'd be in my garage....along with the 6ft blond wife who'd have to be the essential car accessory with these.

The only way a rangie should be modified is for crazy off roading. All the bodykits look cheap and tacky and i just wish i could delete the image of a pink rangie out of my mind 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

OMG i'm 100% with you Lucy. Most of these these Range Rovers are so gross it's not funny. The Starteck "pickup" is absolutely horrible, the rear looks totally unuseable. I'd like to strangle the owners whilst shouting "what were you thinking" hahahaha great video... keep them coming...

My god that first clip was Horrendous then priceys pink rangey almost had me frothing at the mouth. It's like someone spending shed loads prepping their car for sale then sticking a bubblegum scented airfreshener in it. Personally I would love to see a Rangey with front and rear facing rear seats ( sort of like a conference room on wheels) with a mini fridge between the rear facing seats. My vogue has this crappy looking dark artificial wood trim, I do think the shiny walnut in the P38 looked better tbh.

That pink thing would look really good in black, silver or metallic maroon

I broadly speaking, hate any modification to original. But Range Rovers have a long history of this, and possibly even started it. Revere was one of the first, and they now do Bentleys etc. I think that much red, they should have said no to 😂the 6 wheel Range Rover. I think the Sultan of Brunei started that in the 70s 😳

The white chunky one looks like a runaround for a StarWars stormtroopers.

I've never understood why anyone would buy a car and send it to some overpriced accessory specialist to make their car look worse? Back in the day it used to be Overfinch and Khan, nowadays everyone seems to think they know better than the original designer yet they never do! All they do is prematurely date the car! Has anyone ever seen an old car with a body kit on it that looks better than the original design? I never have! As they say, You can't buy good taste.

Some truly horrific models. I'm classless and pretty much tasteless but even those don't appeal to me.... 😂 😂

Enjoyed the video and agree with your comments the 6 wheel pick was the best of the bunch. Having just been to Monaco there were a good proportion of new Range Rovers amongst the Ferraris Lamborghinis and Maseratis .

V6 failures due to bad design. Looks like they used a petrol engine and turned it into a diesel. They conveniently seemed to have ignored the extra stresses required for a Diesel engine, hence the failures

Not really the case. Bad design for sure but there were design constraints that had to be worked in such as overall length for fitting in transverse engined Peugeots, that in the end weren't produced. The result being a hampered engine that was never actually used in the situation it had been hampered for in the first place, this is the reason the joins between crank bearing journals on the crank aren't sufficient for the loads it's put through, and why a failing mass damped crank pulley can be a contributing aspect in crank failure.,

Call me old fashioned but a 4x4 shouldn't look like any of these. Forget fancy colours and low profile wheels. These cars are built like they are for a reason and not for pimping

I agree all of the cars you have shown look rubbish,no taste de value the car by thousands doing a good job but more work on your car do some road trips, will up your views.

We own a Range Rover velar , never understood why people do this to there cars , to me ,for a Range Rover to look classy it has to stop original , all these you’ve put on here look like chav mobiles , truly cheap and tacky .

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people are rivet counters and want their car to be exactly as it left the production line, others want to personalise them. Each to their own, as long as you like it that's all that matters! I've had many cars that have all been tweaked to suit what I want, and I literally couldn't care what anyone thinks of them. My FFRR could have a Lada or a Vauxhall badge on the front and it would still be the same car to me. Too many people get twisted about what anyone else does, and while I think privately even those of us who do modify things will sometimes go 'christ, I don't like that', those thoughts are best kept to ourselves. This woman is like most of the toxic modern 'car' community borne from attention seeking and vanity. Not a fan.

Oh my God, those are terrible. People who do that to a Range Rover should have the car confiscated. Lowering does nothing to enhance the looks of 95% of cars but it ruins Range Rovers more than most.

Lucy, in the interests of equity beauty is in the eye of the beholder, also you slagging other peoples slightly crappy vehicles is a bit rich as yours is neither mint condition or particularly reliable. What suddenly makes you the Rangey gatekeeper? This is not me hating Lucy but people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Must be difficult to work out which is the VERY WORST, as every one ever made has been appalling and not fit for purpose! Modifying them and adding bolt on parts, DOES make them worse, and tends to make them look ridiculous as well as being mechanical disasters!

any range rover is better than no range rover. some of us can't afford to drive
