I love how he took a gen 1 Subaru and turned it into a full on race car. So bad ass

It is amazing to see what he has done with only a $2K budget.
Love the design would like to see a almost direct copy but with better materials so it can last for longer with the funding it could actually be a time attack beast light weight, down force and power already looks good wonder what a bit of money could achieve on this.

Nothing in the video says anything about the engine used in the car. Anyone know anything about that?

The Engine/Drivetrain are from a 2002 Subaru Outback. It is a EJ25 running the stock ECM so it has around 165HP. The transmission is a stock 5MT Subaru converted to 2WD with a 12" cooking Griddle as the block off plate. Total vehicle weight is 1600lbs.
