Is THIS the perfect 3D printer? Bambu Lab P1S!

The Bambu Lab P1S and P1P are incredible (and fast!) printers.. so excited to mod with this! Not sponsored, I just really like this printer.

I’ve been a tinkerer for over 30 years. But when I wanted to get into 3D printing as a hobby, I picked the P1S. Im too old & tired to tinker. It’s as close to plug & play as you can get. It just works.

ender series is not worth the effort to tinker, all these upgrades are there to fix precision error on mechanic level. And some part like bended z axis is not worth to fix tbh. Better focus on printing self-designed object instead of fixing my printer and test print all the time.

I'm in a similar boat. I've proved to myself that I can tinker and make something work, but that doesn't mean I want to do that forever. I will say that people that haven't tinkered much before, learning to make an ender 3. Work helps you understand how 3D printing really works cuz you have to constantly fix those things. But getting something like the p1p or the X1 carbon, that's hitting the easy button. Then you can focus on creating

Well i got 4 printers (the same Ender 3 as shown, ender 5 Plus and ender 3 v3 ke and the p1s). To be honest the p1s was a real blast but after 5 print the nozzle got clogged so hard i had to replace the whole hotend assemly and this really sucks. The ender 3 V3 KE went really well until its hotend fan broke but now it running just great i might even tend to say as well as the p1s. edit: what i wanted to say is the new ender 3 v3 ke is awesome too especially compared to the old ender 3 and that you can have problems with the bambu aswell.

Bambu did some great stuff, frankly it's amazing for the price point, but there's a lot to be desired. Layer adhesion is trash. It still really really sucks at ABS and ASA. Nope, the acceleration on Bambu is way faster and the machine is not shaking. It use accelerometer and Ender doesn't. So... Check video comparisons and edith your comment.

Creality might be better if your hobby is 3d printers, but bambulab is far better if your hobby is 3d printing. Creality has trash customer support and its not made to last. Bambu requires minimal maintenance and in the event that it does need something, its really easy to find an issue and fix. The only downside is the suspicious data collections from bambulab with the camera and cloud software but if you use lan only mode it is generally ok. Creality has just failed time and time again. I keep my ender 3 to try modify it but its not reliable. My k1 print head just refuses to function more than a week. Bambu is objectively better as a 3d printer
