Took some of your ShortGame tips and suggestions to the course today with excellent results. I've only been a follower a short time but I'm learning and saves several strokes from 100 yds in and around the green; at least I did today on semi-frozen greens. Thanks Mr.SG. A satisfied customer. :))

Ok in the dry - what happens in the rain - do they melt? 30 years ago if you cut a ball open you got a load of goo and hundreds of bursting rubber bands. I used to play Wilson Ultra distance balls back then - I found that after 4 holes the flight was not consistant. i.e. a fade could turn into a massive slice. You could actually see older balls bashed out of shape over time and several rounds. Nowadays, they are all very close to the same standard and they certainly do not cut like they did. You could get real smilers back then from thinned shots. Good video again and a better comparison than other Vlog sites when they only hit 3 balls each time.

Vice is a much better ball than the Snell MTB...the Snell ball is too soft, spins too much, and does not go near as far as the Vice Pro Plus. Snell MTB is similar to the Kirkland ball, so for the money, I'd go with Kirkland's ball.

@@scottsmith8546 Thanks for the feedback. I must admit I’ve never tried a Vice ball. I use the MTB-X, and I don’t think it’s as soft as the MTB-Black. The spin is perfect for me (drop & stop), I don’t get much pull back. I’m probably not as good of a player as you though. I do get some pretty good distance with the MTB-X, average drive is 282 total. Have you checked out the MyGolfSpy ball test?

@@michaelparsons541 NP Mike, I have found a MTB-Black and like the Vice Pro Plus (I have the Yellow balls which seem to hold up better than the white ones), it is a harder ball, but does not seem to fly as well and it's terrible on short irons & wedges around the green. The MTB-X is almost the same as the Black, but it's not quite as hard, but it still doesn't seem to stay in the air long, reminds me of the Titleist AVX ball. Haven't seen the MyGolfSpy yet but will check it out. Thank you.

A number of these new balls that have come out lately are higher performing and lower cost than the top line balls. So it's just a matter of time before either the new balls raise their prices based on market growth or the top balls lower theirs based on market decline, that is what competition in the market place is all about.

If the Prov1 spins ANY more than what they are testing against “PROV1 spin more so better” if a competing ball spins more “it’s basically the same”. That is branding bias. Hey Friends- We thought we would jump in here to clarify some detail around our pricing. Our unique, all-in price of $69 includes both 2-day shipping and applicable taxes for each order. Our website goes into further detail about how we aim to cut out the retail games and bring straight-forward pricing to our customers. Check out the 'how we stack up' tab on our website for more detail. Thanks! -Sugar Golf

$2.55 per ball, and that's the one you recommend if you lose a lot of balls? LOL. When the only other option is Pro V1, maybe. But there are a LOT of other decent balls out there for half this price - and I wouldn't recommend anyone spend that much on a ball they're going to lose a lot of.

2.55 a ball is no bargain Kirkland is a 3 piece great feel and distance, at 1.05 each including tax. That the ball you should compare with sugar. Feel around and on the green is way more important than an extra 10 yards off the tee.

A golf ball is a golf ball. Take the name off a golf ball you can’t tell them apart. Can’t tell a Srixon from a titleist or a Bridgestone if they didn’t have a name on it. There would be no difference.
