I just stayed at this resort this past week and many of the issues you had seem to be resolved in the last 9 months. 1) Buffet at those restaurants is available 7 days a week. 2) We were able to use the elevator and get on any floor without our bracelet. We were free to walk anywhere in the hotel. 3) I personally had no issues with check in but I know that can happen to anyone. 4) Maxal is both indoors and outdoors. 5) I noticed a commenter asking about daycare/babysitting - that’s basically what Kids Corner is! 6) I noticed pool cleaning throughout the day. 7) The comfy pool chairs are by reservation only. We absolutely loved this place! It’s brand new and I really think they’re working out all the kinks!

I had an amazing time here staff were amazing no issues with room had a balcony and we went to every restaurant for dinner and it was just as good as the photos they have improved so much compared to your experience.

Hi, Just came back from HCAIR ! Great time, good food ( depend of what you like) We booked the Ocean view junior suite 2 beds , separate living room and large balcony. This is for everyone when you arrived to a resort and your room is not ready just put your swimwear and go to the pool and wait for your call of "Room ready". Also you have 24 hours room service and you can order from a full menu .The beach was bad but its nature!

I just spent 5 nights there- I must say your review was spot on!!! The pool was very dirty, the room keys didn’t work, food was tasteless. I wouldn’t stay there again. It wasn’t worth it at all. They have a lot of work to do to catch up to other 5 start resort. The only thing 5 start worthy is the lobby decor and aesthetics. Thanks

this is a great feedback, i travel all over the States and one of my chain hotels to stay is Hilton Garden Inn’s so I have plenty of points to use, but with this feedback I’ll think twice or even more. I highly recommend to book an all inclusive hotel in Cancun Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach I have stay 3 times, and wife do not want to stay anywhere else if we go to Cancun

Good video!!!! Thanks for posting. I plan on going to Cancun in June. I’m between staying at the Garza Blanca or the Hilton. I am going with my wife two kids (3 and 6 years old) and my mother and father in law. My main concern for the Hilton is the shade situation. Did you find it difficult to find shade? Also was there a lot of seaweed at the beach? If you were in my situation would you prefer the Garza blanca or Hilton? Thanks…

Finding shade was not an issue. Seaweed was not an issue, but that all depends on the weather conditions. Never been to Garza Blanca. So I am not sure how good it is 🤔. Hilton was good

Go to the Hyatt Ziva RIVIERA Cancun... Its 15 mnts away from this Hilton and has waterpark long slides and kids waterpark with slides has a beach but with seaweed (its all over that location /no the hotel fault) Now..If the beach is super important to you and want small kids slides then The Hyatt Cancun is the one.

I'm not a quality tequila expert. But they will give you as many drinks as you want. But I do believe there are some drinks you need to pay an extra (certain bottles of wine).

You can do it over your phone, or around the reception area. I like all the restaurants. Variety is what I like. So try a different restaurant every night!

One more question.. Ive been to Cancun and stayed in the hotel zone. Ive seen multiple videos of this particular property and noticed that the ocean water washes up brown. How did you feel about the beach water not being clear?

We had pretty dark water and seaweed during our 8 night stay. Sadly the last day we were leaving the water was clear and beautiful

@@DaNiBu10 thank you for the update. I’m staying next door at the Waldorf Astoria for a week for Christmas and New Years. But every video I’ve seen shows the water at the Hilton very murky with a lot of seaweed. I’ve never seen dark water in the hotel zone, which is only 20 min away.

I liked this hotel! I didn’t need to use my bracelet to use the elevator. I got an upgraded to a corner ocean view and my checking was very fast. My only complaint is the beach since It cannot compare to the beach on some Rivera maya properties and the hotel zone.

Thank you very much for this video. Had to switch to this hotel for my January holiday away as my holiday operator canceled the other hotel I was ment to stay in. Things look good at this hotel. The pool area looks excellent. Like that the waiters will bring food and drink to where you are. How is the WiFi at the hotel? Good in all areas or are there any dead spots that you remember?

We absolutely love the Hilton Los Cabos but it’s not all inclusive. The food was amazing as well as the service and location. Sadly they’ve raised their prices so it’s definitely on their pricier side.

this video was awesome!! im going in 2 weeks. and i'm super excited. we are getting one of the interior rooms bc we are using h honors points instead of the cash. but i'm super glad about all of the amenities and all of that. but i have a couple questions. at the steak house, you said the tomahawk is extra. does that count for all steak or just the tomahawk? also. was the food at the carts by the pool included or did you have to pay for that as well? thanks!!

Tomahawk will always be extra any where you go! Or else everybody would be ordering it. Some of the things you were complaining about was you trying to get extra perks out of them. You only get what you pay for.

They should not allow people to reserve beach beds and chairs. You should have to be present in the pool area and not just throw a towel at 6am and return at 9am

where do you find the best beaches?

Just got back from this hotel and it was an ok experience. We will not be returning. We ate at all restaurants and the best was Auma. The beach had too many ants and full of sea weed. Not a beachfront property to enjoy with your family. They need more to do there. We only enjoyed time at the pool. Nothing else to do but drink watered down drinks and eat ok food. The beach is located on the side of the island that is not blue water. The water reminded us of Galveston,TX water, awful😌

Just came from there. It’s ok, but not the best. It’s far from city center, so you feel secluded or isolated. They do have a free shuttle to the mall bc there was another Hilton there. Food was ok, same as any other Cancún resort. Nothing special. The pool chairs get filled quick, so if you don’t go out and put a towel on them to “reserve” them, you’re out of luck. We saw some airline staff stay there, so it felt more like a hotel than a true resort. It felt like many were there using their hotel points to stay there. During the hurricane beryl, Hilton opened up the convention center side. So realized how big the place was. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would far preferred to stay in the resort zone. My kids didn’t care though. lol. The beach didn’t have crazy seaweed in there like we saw on our previous stay. Your review was spot on. Buffet was open 7 days. And check out was great. But again, since it’s far from the city center, people were “stuck” and the lobby can get crowded. It’s more like an American hotel than a Cancun resort.
