Thankyou. Doesn't matter how tech savvy we think we are there is always changes that don't seemed to be explained in the manual. Many i njured have found are poorly translated to English. That leads to frustration. Glad you sorted it out.

Ive been following a couple of model makers who 3d print the models from provided files. The files cost coin to purchase and it seems there can be often catastrophic failures due to issues with the files and the interface with the software. Some printers are also locked to certain software for your files so Caveat Emptor. Its hard atm to find an entry level item due to the amount of paid promotion and the constant changing in the tech. But it makes us older folk feel good when we nail it. :)

I use an ender 3 with a glass print bed and other than the original filament feed gear stripping out (MY FAULT- had the tension too tight) you can use a multitude of software to run it and personally i use cura slicer and the stock windows 3d builder software with mine both are free btw!

I got a creality v2 neo and could not for the life of me get it to work, even after adding a dual axis. I'd fix one problem, only for another to arise. Finally I gave up and got a bambu labs p1p and had it printing in less than an hour perfectly. Not only did it work great, but its super fast!

Try a prusa 3dprinter, they are much easier to use

Ya I get and do that sometimes.

levels of 3d printers. hot garbage at the start of a run. hot garbage hours into a run. or its fine.
