    I am the owner of the Red Corvette with welded exhaust. I installed the headers but there was a leak so I took it to a Spanish only speaking shop. there was a miscommunication and they welded everything. sorry about the extra work 😆 🤣 but damn the final product is a beast. so happy with the car. was only expecting about 615 wheel. ended up with 647 wheel. RPM does amazing work and I got to see the dog in the office when picking up the car. huge dog. knock off ZR1 wheels are not my choice 😆 previous owner did that

    If talking today’s N/A yes but not historically. GM and Ford both made N/A big blocks in their production cars that were under rated but actually made way more than 505 ZL1 427 is just one example

  • @midnight347

    @midnight347

    2 жыл бұрын

    I think he's referring to power to be had modified not what they made stock. As great as the big blocks were in factory form they didn't have 'way more than 505' even in somewhat heavier cars (alot of them aren't as heavy as you may think compared to modern cars) because the stock trap speeds just weren't high enough to have had that kind of power. About 110 mph is the fastest just about any of those big blocks ever trapped in stock form. The big block cobras trapped like 120 because they were crazy light.
