100%. I try to be very fair. I would not add this disc to my bag but I do see how it could be a great tool for a player with a different playing style than myself. The normal Zone is plenty stable for my noodle arm!!

Finally got mine in and yes, it is good. I personally like the flex forehand shot because its the closest natural motion in disc golf to throwing a ball and I like seeing discs fight out of the turn in the mid flight. Zone OS was not as dumpy and overstable as people have suggested online, its a totally usable awesomely reliable overstable zone and I love it.

You’re getting a lot better at doing these videos by yourself. Really getting to the point of the disc you’re throwing. Also you are quickly becoming one of the best throwers of all time. The first time I saw you you were impersonating other disc golfers putting forms at the memorial. Look at you now!! Your form is unique and precise. Cheers man

It seems that comprehensive on course disc reviews are your forte. You have really become professional in your delivery the past year. Bravo! If you do another disc review maybe you could elaborate on the concept of “true +1 turn” where a disc like the Stego will literally get more stable the harder it is thrown. PMB alluded to it but it probably didn’t soak in to most who haven’t experienced it.

As you can throw discs by multiple manufacturers, have you tried the absolute Tilt of a midrange by Prodiscus, the Troija? (In Premium plastic preferrably) I just can't imagine this being as OS tbh.

Honestly, I have been considering the zone os for a while, all because i suck at forehand approaches that need a little bit of anhyzer, not that all of my tactics and current zones have a long pan out helps at all but still.

If you play in high wind states this disc is a must. Kansas & Illinois golfers should all own this one

Jumpman logo. Classic. Any issues with using it? Curious. New sub. Great review.

Looking forward to Zone Extreme OS in a few years. You-all know which way its going.

Drew being someone who has some Stego experience I am also curious. I expect he doesn't like the FH grip of the Stego (and Stego toped baobab) as much. I also don't remember the Stego videos it being tested for approach. Would love to see a comparison video, even if he craps on the #worstdiscever Stego more 😂

Honestly i love my Zone OS but its so dependent on the player. Most people who throw alot of hyzers or even flat releases probably wont like this as much but i use my exclusively for anhyzer/chop sidearms. For me i can only throw maybe 3-5 power hyzer sidearms per round before my elbow hurts bad but i can throw as many chops as i want with no drawbacks. For that reason this disc is so perfect for me.

@@DrewGibson i also find its great for distance control. Like i know for mine i can get it to 250 comfortably maybe 280ish if i really push it. Its alot easier for me to hit lines and distance by just slamming on my Zone OS rather than trying to really power down on something more neutral

2:52 You explain and show how it’s deeper/thicker than a regular Zone and that it feels over stable and you like that. Then you immediately say you like a thinner disc because that means it’s more over stable and that’s why you like the Zone OS. Then you say it definitely feels deeper…? Did I miss something lol?

@Discraft I love the quality of your discs (especially Z), the raised printing on the inside of the rim is a nice touch (more grip). But I hate the inconsistencies between plastics. And this is very confusing for the masses that are buying your discs. A disc should be true to numbers. And if in a given plastic is not, you should print different numbers on it to account for that. Or make as many molds as you have plastics to adjust for them. I mean, I have a Luna that's a -1 1 (the biggest disappointment ever) and a big-Z Buzzz that's 0 2 (also have a Z that's true to numbers). It's fine that different plastics fly differently, but you're all over the map, and the masses that make your revenue, are being offered no clue as to what they'll get when ordering.

It's really not confusing. Flight numbers are a relative guide, not a statement of fact.

After buying about 40 discraft of all different types, I'll say the flight numbers do not match all plastic for sure but I've gotten to where I base the numbers on a Z plastic and expect the stability to go down as I step down to ESP and so on. My first experience with this was a Z Untertaker that I couldn't turn over trying my hardest and then got an esp one that flips up and turns like a Heat comparatively. If you are looking for a company who's stock discs come out the same consistently in all plastics, go with MVP. But look into the different ways plastics cool after molding. Different plastics shrink more than others causing the rim to have slightly lower or higher parting line and causing differences in stability.

High hard, perse and scoot, over torque hold left....or not...that one's dad...from this distance... barreling left...

Utility disc... in the same category as a Splice. 2 shots a year you might need it.
