Is the CZ75 Compact still better than any Glock?
Спорт
Sure @hickok45 did a review on this pistol 11 years ago...
But we wanted to get @gunfighter_6620's take on this iconic firearm just 24 years after the CZ 75 was brought to the market!
We all know Nishan loves Glock, but does this little CZ out do it for him?
Yes. Yes it does.
As does literally any other pistol on the planet.
Tune in for his two-minute pro/con list on this little all-metal pistol.

your camera work is crisp and editing is fine but the audio is so crazy echoey. its hard to understand, I need to listen carefully. my constructive criticism is to get a mic and maybe some sound deadening material off-screen
@GunfighterCanyon
Жыл бұрын
Tell Nishan to quit diverting his editor's resources to other projects! 🤣 But yeah - thanks for the feedback. We shot like 50 videos in one morning. This shoot day was unplanned and totally off-the-cuff, right in the store - so not much sound treatment we could do. We had a good mic on set, but had it mounted back on the A-CAM (Sony FX3). Weren't planning on doing "interviews" so didn't have the gear to boom it proper. So yeah - a little echoey. We've been putting the audio through this new Adobe AI processor (see it in action here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2uqlpWid9TVaLA.html). Sometimes we're just editing too fast and don't have time to add that loop into the process. Nishan keeps pulling us off of these edits for other more "important" stuff. Apparently 50 views on KZread videos doesn't merit the "full" edit.
CZ over Glock any day

@@GunfighterCanyon because the CZ is a pistol that seems to never stop working. Watch all the abuse tests on KZread, even freezing the gun and it still works. Glocks to me are ugly box looking junk and the trigger is too long of a pull compared to the CZ trigger.

@@one-metallica4156 I have seen way more cz's quit working in pistol course than Glocks. I like them both, but carrying a much lighter Glock for 14 hours a day is much more practical than an all steel gun. I have Glocks over 35 years old. Wth do you mean they quit working. I don't doubt you can put high round counts through a steel cuz, but I know from first hand experience, I'll run out of money before I can wear down a Glock, especially in 9mm. Plus Glock aftermarket, and Glock customer service is great.

Yep. Thanks for the feedback. One guy, running two cameras, audio, and lighting. For this unplanned shoot. It was adventurous. Sometimes we have enough time to color/exposure correct those close-up shots (when the autofocus hits instead of getting his face). Sometimes we don't. 🤣
Good review, I owned a Glock but traded it in for a SIG SP2022, but that’s another story. I do own the CZ Compact, I like it. People complain about the lack of a decocker, you get used to lowering the hammer. If it really bugs you that much, release/remove the mag, rack the slide (ejecting the round) and pull the trigger on an empty chamber & insert mag. Of course pick up the ejected round. I agree, the Compact being steel does get heavy on the belt. I carry a duty bag to hold my iPad, phone etc. The CZ Compact fits fine, is concealed & relatively easy to get to. Good short video.

Comparing a CZ 75 compact to a Beretta 85FS or 84FS You can't beat a CZ 75 compact, I've owned several Beretta 85F Nickel Cheetah's over the years, yes it's a better looking gun but it's only a .380 that only holds 8 rounds which is almost the same size as a CZ compact and the CZ is a 9mm that holds a whopping 15 rounds. The only downfall to a all steel CZ 75 compact is it's so damn heavy especially a fully loaded one.

A fully loaded CZ 75 compact is only about one pound heavier than a Glock 19. Unless you are fully geared up one pound isn't much. Get a good belt, good holster, and hit the weight room. I'm 70 and have no problem carrying the CZ.

That’s why the PCR is a tad better than the regular CZ Compact. The PCR frame is an aluminum alloy so it’s a little bit lighter.

I'm getting one, and thanks for the jab at the Glock snobs. I hate ugly plastic guns too. (even though I own one).
Im cozy with mine. It's heavy, its not really compact and the finish isn't very durable . The firing pin retaining pin is a terrible retention system and is prone to fail if dry fired. By that I mean dry fired at all. I am on the third one. Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how did you like the play? Well, I have carried this gun religiously for three years and no intention of replacing it soon. It is easy to shoot effectively, I give it eight out of ten for reliability,(avoid dry fire) and it's not too picky with ammo

This guy is not seemingly exceptionally intelligent. His comments are , " juvenile", and his opinions about this particular firearm, sound irrelevant. The firearm is designed for " Compact concealed carry", and a person would have it loaded ,so racking the slide would be a non issue. If the clip was to empty, quickly, the slide would remain in the open position, until such a time as the possessor of said weapon was ready to insert another magazine, and hit the slide release. Of course, this would automatically chamber the next round for firing. I find his entire video a bit ridiculous and probably not produced for a more educated demographic of concealed carry folks.
