You did a very amazing video, but if you did everything with the gun, why didn't you record it? Instead of showing clips from other people's session, it's more believable when you show us yourself. Handling the gun as opposed to using clips from every other people.

I’m really confused with people talking about no safety block. No decocker. Why is the shadow 2 so popular in competition then. Just ignore the safety. Keep the gun half cocked which makes it drop safe. Some really nice upgrades by Cajun gun works if that tickles your fancy. What I really like is rocking a competition and when done put shadow 2 away and take the compact. Same platform which is if you not bad at competition then you’ll feel more confident with the compact version.

@@MARCHOFTHESAS when it’s down it’s actually resting on the back of the firing pin. Floating as such. Any hit will ultimately hit the firing pin. In half cock it’s only position to move is backwards, hence physically impossible to move forward, the double action on hammer down or half cocked is exactly to same pull weight. Hopefully this makes sense and happy to help if you need anything else answered.

Does it fit same holsters as shadow 2 holsters?

Agreed I own SP01 Tac , P01 , and P07 all decocker versions will not purchase until a decocker version is available.

Why? I'm not clowning I'm asking seriously? Decockers fail. That's a fact. When you decock your own and have it DA for the first round with the thumb save on but still on in the chamber you can't be safer. Unless I'm missing something. Some people may see this as redundant but you have one in the chamber and have a harder first pull plus thumb safety.

@@OGRYDAthe only issue I can think of in that scenario is, with safety on it stops the trigger, but if it’s dropped and hammer is cocked then it could fire when dropped. Yes you can say well don’t drop it but I don’t think people intentionally drop their guns but it does happen.

So, what is the reason for a DA/SA with a safety and no decocker? Something to do with competition? For competition would one not use a SA full size? My CZ and Sig have DA/SA with decoker and no manual safety. I was excited about it, but this is a deal breaker for me. Cheers, Tony

Why did you change it out to single action only with a 3 lb trigger on single and safeties that absolutely suck! CZ MISSED THE BOAT! THIS PISTOL SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN OMNI VERSION IF ONLY THEY WOULD HAVE DONE THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT PISTOL!

Bro, it's a habit. Im Beretta 92G guy ( 'till the day a day ) but I wouldn't think for a second to get this Compact Czech piece of beauty or the CZ PCR for that matter! I did not like the previous big brother Shadow 2 for stupid reasons (to much hype from the race gun people etc...) but I adore this one and I am get in one probably for CCW! Sometimes Manual Safety is better than a decocker. It is all about training, training, training and then some even more bloody training. But we are smart guys, we learn very fast. Oh by the the way, I now carry a S&W 1911 E-Series with a Wilson Combat Bushing Compensator-Multi Comp, few of those 10rds. Chip McCormac's and a Surefire X300. Do not think to much, just get that beauty! And if you do not like it later, you can sell it in jiff. Good luck bro, and remember, training, training, training and then some more!

I would put this gun when cajunized against anything out there. I got the first one that was ported and Completely tricked out by Cajun gun works. First one of its kind. Extremely easy to tack drive shots in the same hole at 25' . Bonus, at $2400 it will outshoot any Staccato. Mine is pulling 2.2 S/A and 5.4 D/A.
