As part of the Dragonflight questline you are canonically thrusted all the way back in time to the Black Empire, as you make your way to Chromie one of the whispers is literally N'Zoth saying he recognizes who you are and what you will yet be. With the player being given N'Zoth's gift during BFA, among other things, the prescience of the player has given N'Zoth the knowledge he needs to know exactly which timeline is the one that is going to happen. Unlike Zovaal and Denathrious, N'Zoth IS in fact the true mastermind in history. Taking advantage of this valuable insight to steer everything towards his favor not only to make sure everything happens accordingly so this timeline stays its course, but also tricking everyone and everything else into thinking he was just another bumbling Old God. His prophecies from Illganoth are literally just him flexing the fact that he could tell you his exact plans and still come out on top with said plans knowing you can do nothing about it.

I remember someone explaining to me way back in AQ20 about why we were killing C'thun. Supposedly the Titans imprisoned the Old Gods because they knew they couldn't outright kill them. But then I begged the question, "Why are WE killing him then?" And in point of fact, we've 'killed' every single Old God left to date, aside from Y'saarj (because of obvious reasons). This of course begged the further question, "If the Titans deemed the Old Gods as something that *shouldn't* be killed are now presumably dead, why hasn't everything fallen apart?" I'd argue that none of the Old Gods are actually dead, but merely subdued and recovering.

Calling it now. The last Titan is actually referencing Sargeras. After the void lords kill the rest of his Pantheon he comes back with Illidan riding on his back like a horse and fights for Azeroth and against Void Waifu.

What if the 5th old god was actually the 1st old god. The 5th old god looks like a combination of all the other old gods and it seems that this was their original form and when the Titan's showed up and defeated them, they split them into the 4 old gods we have come to know.

Honestly the way N’Zoth was killed reminded me so much of the beginning of the Teclis trilogy in Warhammer. Mages challenged all their power to obliterate a greater being of chaos but a small sliver of him survived and he regenerated his body slowly over time

Are the essences of the old gods being absorbed in only one timeline, or in all the timelines? I think the old gods are the void lords, but a fraction of them, like a facet of a gem. Because of the nature and number of realities, and the fact that void lords exist in all realities and timelines as a singular being at the same time, perhaps these incarnations are simply the staggered versions of the void lords collecting infinitely more essence/power at once.

This would be a fun twist on the old narrative surrounding Old Gods. First we were told they can not be killed, only imprisoned. Then we're told that Aman'thul ripped Y'shaarj out by force and that was a very costly mistake otherwise (to them) known as the Well of Eternity. If all of that is a lie because they were meant to die all along that would be fascinating. If the Titans return to Azeroth or we're talking to Tyr and the reaction is "oh no, no no, this is bad" that would be a great way to show the distrust players should have for both factions.

Referring to the great beyond. Well they made a mistake by making Azeroth and other lands floating globe Balls 🌎.... why? The letters "ET" in the word "PLANET" is a "Suffix" for the word "PLANE". "ET" suffix is added to mean "smaller". Therefor, "PlanET" means: "Small PLANE".

The thing that keeps poking me is. Xaleth didn't seem to do this willingly. I could be and probably am. But it seemed like while in the blade, Xal despised the Old Gods. She didn't hate them, but she was very wronged by them. So it just feels lil odd that she is doing their bidding now. I wondering if she is doing this now as she is bound by a magical bond to do it, but once she has i'm guess brought the void to Azeroth. Maybe there is a chance we can turn her? After all the Enemy of my enemy. Is my friend?

My thoughts that wrathion was "subdued" by nzoth to push the blade into nzoth so nzoth can "escape" considering the blade dissapeared.

So in a mural in the new raid/dungeon theres an old god depicted that in my opinion looks very similar to N'zoth, having the same color and eyes. I also think if you put in directly in place of the fiery maw of N'zoth's head it would fit flawlessly. What if that being was a portion of N'zoth himself, having split it off as part of a long scheme, intentionally weakening himself during the Black Empire. Now this fragment is the last remaining Old God on Azeroth and has been feeding on Nerubian sacrafices and now the blood of his kin to rise as a being more powerful than even prime Y'saraj.

There is another drawing from before, Dragonflight or I don't remember where exactly and on all the margins of the drawing there is an Old God drawn in corners and on the middle of the bottom margin and there are the other 4 Old Gods that we know by name plus this new 5th one that is clearly different than N'zoth with how is drawn.

If you search on Google 5th Old God and you go into images there is an image or article that says Xal'atath was the 5th Old God and you can clearly see drawn on that image all 4 Old Gods and somebody wrote their names and the 5th one is with "?"...

Just because WoW has primitive tech, doesn't mean we should force-utilize it in every aspect of thought. Guidance systems? Godlike beings tossed spirits from the Void into reality that took a physical shape and landed on purposeful targets. Magic. Not everything is 500IQ science. Has no one played tabletop RPGs over the past few decades or read the Bible? Avatars die. Spirits return to whence they came and can occasionally come back. No, they aren't dead even though they've died. -_-
