I’m not sure I agree with your interpretation of the line about if Turalyon knew exactly what was happening to Alleria. To me the part about the scenario of him spending the rest of his life trying to save her doesn’t scream “Alleria loves her void powers and doesn’t want to lose them”. It screams “I don’t want to burden the love of my life with the life mission of saving me. Abandoning his goals to fix me”. She may not want to lose her void powers but I don’t think we can use that line in the short story as evidence of that. To me the entire line is about love. Completely losing her love and her love spending the rest of his life trying to save her are equally painful scenarios to her. Nothing about her void powers imo.

@@TheAccolonn I personally like how you take liberty with words and wordplay because it's exactly how the developers treat things. A lot of people read a story, make a determination on its meaning and shut themselves off to other potential interpretations. I think it sets you apart from other Lore Streamers/Content Creators in general. Not everything you say comes true, but you prepare your audience for the broadest interpretation of some of the language Blizzard's creative team uses and I think it's a good thing.

Nice vid. I feel like some of this one was stretched pretty thin to work. I will guess Xal'atath could have been the harbinger of the ethereal planet and was supposed to be the one earlier for Azeroth, but the Old Gods stopped her. I don't think Alleria is Xal'atath, but do think they have a connection, that Xal'atath may use to make her the new harbinger. Have a great day all!!! :)

I mentioned arator being the child of prophecy in your narration video so super happy you mentioned it in this analysis but I came to a random thought while listening to you talk about alleria being the harbinger. We know how souls can split into two thanks to the shadowlands, so what if xal'atath is allerias void side of her split off after she was captured into the dagger. I mention this cause during the new questline. xal atath shows key memories to Alleria, and it is mentioned multiple times that this is personal. Then as you are pursuing her, you see visions of Modgud and Selene, both previous wielders of the dagger. In the shadowlands, when Sylvanas is reconnected with her split self, she can not come to terms with the fact that these memories are her memories regardless of whether she remembers these moments or not. Xal'atath is showing Alleria her own memories that she can not remember and can not accept just the same as her sister Sylvanas was, and only when Sylvanas accepts these actions is when she wakes. Let me know what you think cause my brain is cooking and idk it makes sense 😅 Great video as always 👍

Locus-Walker is Nexus-King Salhadaar... He died in Netherstorm, but is said about the old rulling class of K'aresh, the Ethereum, which he leads, that they took any means necessary in fighting Dimensius, even transforming themselves in creatures of the Void. So after he died, maybe because he was transformed into a void creature before, he returned to the Void and was reborn because he didn't die in the Void.

Both of them were as hostile and suspicious as you can get , however the moment Faol tells his ex student to reach out to him throught yhe Light. Turalyon immediately falls to one knee emotional asking for a blessing fron the Undead Alonsus meaning that despite what we might think he is not a blind zealot like the Scarlets.

Makes me wonder how much Alleria's fate is influenced by her becoming what she is by basically absorbing a Dark Naaru. Naaru, too, lack the balance in though most are vessels of the Light, they can turn the opposite with little middleground. With the Sunwell now being partly influenced by a Naaru, too, her reacting strongly to it and maybe even wanting to be near it, might come from the powers of the Dark Naaru inside her. Even better, with her being influenced by a Dark Naaru and Turalyon by a Light one, Arator might be the one to reconcile both sides in a possible conflict.

I don't think she's Xal'atath but she's definitely the real Harbinger. With what happened at the Sunwell I think she's something akin to a gateway. Her third death will be when Arator dies. Potentially by her own hand if we go by N'Zoth's vision. A piece of her will die and she will not be able to bounce back. Her first death could've been when her parents and brother were killed. The second when she lost Sylvanas and her home or when she had given up a future with her son for the sake of duty.

Well this the whisper about the third death...there is a problem with it. As we know Alex Afrasiabit when he still held reins over the narrative decided to make Sylvanas the villain in Shadowlands. Originally she was meant to die there for good. But one he got booted out of the company, Steve Danuser was told to do whatever he can to preserve her. I still believe that whisper was meant for Sylvanas as it was made in the Legion during the reign of Afrasiabi. And now is somewhat problematic.

I do feel like trying to use her "rebirth" as a mortal as a second death would be a stretch. It also could be that Xal'atath does have a way deeper connection to Alleria than she has anyone else, they could have been linked somehow but we'd need a solid explanation to justify how.

Perhaps. I kind of hope not, but to examine the possibilities further, what if we look at not proper names but wardrobes and identities, up until just now Alleria has been the Windrunner sister, the ranger. Now in War Within per Locus Walker's instruction we see her drop this persona and change. To embrace the path she has tried to push against. So if everything until now is Alleria living just her first life and War Within we enter her second life, what would trigger her third life as Xal? Arator. Alleria has always stated that her anchor point is Arator, no mater what happens no mater what has to be done she wants him safe and happy. And it rhymes time and time again that we see characters like Arthas, Illidan, or Naltharion, Sargaras?, in moments of desperation make deals and sacrifices in a moment ultimately to become what they despised. That love and conviction has never been extended to Turalyon. In fact in the horrific vision Alleria kills Turalyon. So if through some course of events we see Arator threatened especially by the Light we will easily see Alleria go a step further then she should. To give in to servitude in order to change history. And the Void basically saying the only way you get what you want is help us win, oh wait you don't get a choice. Edit: I forgot to add that, this theory would explain why Locas Walker clearly knows whom Xal is. That Alleria is and always was going to become Xal.

What if they stuff real alleria into a mourneblade, sylvannas returns to bring the body and soul back together, considering she kinda went thru this when baldy nip man completed her soul again, So she kinda knows how to do it? I think if we wanted to tie Arator to the vassal of life thing we could maybe look at it from Aleria's perspective. From a mothers point of view and how its portrayed in that short story Arator would be her world so it could be interpreted as him being her vassal of life, that thing that she's emotionally tied to that if she were to completely lose maybe she would say what does she have left? Would she no longer even care about her duty? which was always what she let keep her from him. Possible idea there.

Listening to your theory made me think of one. Look at the titles of the new expansion. What if they’re double entendres. What if the “War Within is not just a metaphor for battle inside our planet but an allusion to the War Within Alleria as well. What if “Midnight” is an allusion to the Void trying to force Alleria to do their bidding because something happens that causes her to refrain from using that power and deciding to cast it out. What if “The Last Titan” is her realizing she is Xal’atath from another time and she seeks to do for herself what we did for Norzdomu / Murozond but they find out that Norzdomu power only works for the timeline we’re confine to so they reason to go to the source of his power Amun’thul someone who’s power isn’t limited to just this time line and that kicks Iridikron into action because he’s been waiting for the Titan to come back. Xal’atath being aligned with the void and being able to see all truths has seen this coming and has a contingency plan already set in place. Just me speculating, let me know what you think 🤔 💭

If anything the story should show you he is exactly as he has always been which definitely is not a fanatic, something that has been shown across several books and expansions already. @@sorarockss93 I think its because there's people within the community who desperately wish to portray the Light as anything but good, and cannot handle the possibly that one or two characters' could geniunely be decent people, who simply have faith. They can understand that these people could will the Light for evil, but never for the good of others, that ultimately it boils down to free will of the individual to how they use the power of the Light, not the cosmic force itself, a concept that isn't unique to the Light, as people forget that Thrall struggled with his shamanism for a long period of time, and that shamanism has been frequently used for evil intentions in WoW's history, with sorcers binding the elements and desecrating them. This is called gnostism, the believe that something divine is imperfect, and its been a heresy of the Church for awhile, yet many secular crowds have taken the theme up for fictional writing, which we see Blizzard is clearly inspired by. What's worse is that these same people often try to twist traditional, faithful structures, like the concept of the family man, to somehow be nothing more than a delusion, a ploy, even though thus far, all Turalyon wants is for his family to settle down as one, and age with his beloved at his side. Even the concept of divine authority, that eating from forbidden fruits is harmful and can burden societies with more problems than anyone is capable of dealing with, is frowned upon with the whole edginess of Sylvanas and the Jailor wanting to unmake reality because they didn't get the life they thought they each deserved, or considered themselves entitled to. What all of this boils down to is a bunch of disenchanted audiences trying to fashion a mythological story out of their personal issues with religion, with no forethought towards understanding theology, or the world religions, properly, and then taking it out on other peoples' art, written or otherwise. Calia also gets this treatment despite there being no hint, or evidence, of her being a potential threat and like Turalyon, is focused on other matters of importance.
