Old air tanks can, and do, burst. It's just a matter of time.
My 36 year old Craftsman air compressor is an awesome piece of equipment.
But at it's age and condition, there's a risk that the air tank has become dangerous to use.
I dissembled the unit and pressure tested the tank. This was an interesting exercise that answered my questions.
