@danny supersell i highly doubt he’ll be able to do daily brawl stars videos, don’t forget he has 3 entire channels. if he tried daily uploads for this channel it’ll either mean his other channels will be forgotten, or his daily brawl stars uploads will have to be less quality than his usual videos that take more time

Instead of having her stand still to increase her range, instead maybe make her have a bar (like Bibi). If she doesn't attack for 2-3 seconds, then her bar charges and increases the range of that ammo and can charge again. This might make her way for viable since not attacking is more common than not moving.

i'd also be fine if they'd reduce the timeto charge up her long shot from 1 second to 0.5 or 0.7 or something. 1 second just feels a bit too long

I personally think a good rework would be: The Focus bar drains slowly during movement (instead of emptying instantly) AND That the range extension and the Focus bar are correspondent (meaning a quarter-charged bar equals a quarter-extended range, half-charged bar equals half-extended range, and so on to full-charge equals full-extension) Because in principle, it’s like if Janet had to stand still for every extended attack That way you won’t always be a sitting duck and your patience is never wasted

Good idea. my idea for a buff is more range while standing, a "sniper" effect where the camera changes focus to the place you're aiming when standing and most importantly make her shots go through 1 or 2 walls while standing so you can stand still and not be extremly vulnerable

They could buff her by making the bar decrease slowly after she moves Here is a example Mandy stands still to fill bar When fill her bar her range increase When she move the range is still increased but the bar will decrease slowly until it is empty then the range will become normal again till she stands still again

I think they should make her range buff while standing still instant, like when she’s standing still for even a second her range just poofs into a 12 tile attack, that would keep the gimmick but make it so that it’s usable and not just suicide

@@bap832 I think she’s fairly good. In good maps like bounty she can out in some work and if you have good aim they won’t get close to you. I think she’s a high risk high reward brawler. Also like colt who (before the update) needed a lot of skill but if you had it, he is really good.

A good tweak to her standing still mechanic, i guess would be that after you start to move you would still have the extra range for some 2 or 3 secs Then you stand still, move and you still would have her ability

I think the bar charging up needs to go. The moment she doesn't move, she should immediately have that longer range. I know that even now it doesn't take long for it to charge, but even then it needs to be shorter. Or she could get additional buffs, such as a shield, a damage increase or maybe even shooting through walls with her normal attack (though that might make her a bit too OP). I'd also like to see her vision being increased a bit when she is standing still, so that she can actually see if she will be hitting something with that additional range.

I thought of an idea of how to change Mandy, it could be like when you use Mandy there is an extra button that when pressed switches Mandy into long range mode where she can still walk just very slowly. And after 2 seconds the button will become available to press again and when you need to she can switch back to normal

I think you need to use standing still defensively and not offensively. It seemed like on hot zone for instance when you have control would be a great time to stand still because you would have a lot more control over the battlefield then. I also think she is going to be a brawler that benefits from really good understanding of different maps for different angles, allowing dedicated players to hit perfect shots.

I personally think she’ll be good, but not as good as other chromatics on release

Hey kairos idk if this is lore or not but I chose to say this anyway! If you are just in the regular menu you will hear the backround music, quite nice music by far the best in my opinion. I've noticed that they sing in an npc type tune as if they are hypnotised. Eg: the line "Mandy's candy... we *all* love mandys.. candy.." If you listen to this in the menu it sounds they are making you want to like they candy, just as if they are hypnotised- I think people will understand this more if they listen to it. But you can hear almost they get progressively angrier but they don't sound it if it makes sense - maybe its just me but I have a feeling this music is way diffrent from the ones we have gotten.

I prefer to play any brawler class besides the ‘sharp shooter’ as Kairos calls it. Yet when I unlocked Mandy, to my surprise, I instantly fell in love with playing as her. I thought her attack was slow, and it is to a degree, but for some reason I am able to control it much better than say Brock or Jessie. And Kairos is right: using that super and getting a kill is the *BEST* feeling in the game. And when you get a two shot? _Oh man!!_

The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a quick building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy. When he is jumping over the river, he cannot be targeted by any ground attacking units. The Log and Earthquake will fail to damage a Hog Rider while he is jumping. Air troops can still attack him though, and the Inferno Tower and Inferno Dragon will continue to ramp up their damage. When countering Hog Riders, obviously use buildings. But be wary as it the offender would usually play around it with cards such as Earthquake. Air swarms such as Minion Horde can help due to the Hog's usual support tools not countering them. On the offender's side, a powerful move is to accompany him with an Earthquake, obilerating almost every building, and also grounded swarms. To a lesser extent, Lightning could also be used, retaining the same point of almost destroying every building while also crippling troops such as the Wizard or the Hunter. The Log could also be an effective first play as a cycle, but it only kills swarms and sometimes a non-center-placed Tombstone.Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage. When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings. Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building. Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation

A strat I found that might work for her if you stand still to charge up the bar then instantly shoot and then start moving again, you get the extra range and call apply pressure towards the enemy while still being able to move afterwards Also if you get to slow someone across the map with her gadget it’s almost impossible to miss your super and if you hit that super it’s so good even if they run back to heal you charge your super half way!

Mandy is like Nani but with different steps. Both of them have super long supers that can one tap brawlers and are hard to it, both of them have super long range even for snipers, both of them have more health than standard snipers, both of them are really useful in specific maps and modes (long range maps and bounty/knockout and some times heist), both of them have to stand still to use their abilities for Nani it's her super and for Mandy it's her main attack, both of them can't deal with tanks all that well but have abilities to help them fight tanks for Nani it's her super and for Mandy it's her gadget. And both of them I feel will be underrated by the casual brawl stars players.

@@Kyumifun yea she does a lot of damage but 1 it's not consistent 2 her unload speed is slow and 3 her reload speed is slow as well. Most of the time Nani dies before getting her 2nd shot off if the tank gets to close. Nani can beat a bibi up close tho but you would have to time her gadget well but other tanks like el primo, Rosa, Bull, Frank she is not good against them. Nani is my main and my favorite brawler to play so ik what brawlers she struggle with

Honestly Mandy has similarlities f Bibi but long range. A strong version of majn attack that charges itself with a bar. Slowing gadget, shield star power, long range super that no one wants to get hit by.

I would love for that longer range ability to activate at 0.3 sec

Mandy rework idea : When she is stationary, that extra range charges (takes the same amount of time). That that bar will stay full for the whole time she is standing still (also as it is now) But if she moves, that extra range stays for another 1-2 (maybe 2.5) seconds. This would then give her the ability to still be able to move for a while after standing still while being abble to use that extra range.

Her extended range seems solid for following up after using her super, since she has to stop anyways. Pretty much just that and some surprise shots from bushes.

Kairos, serious thought here. Instead of Mandy having a longer shot when she stands still, do you think it would be better to have a long shot on like her first one or last one? Kind of like Lola with her damage increase on that 3rd shot. Maybe it could be stand still and get a reload speed instead of the longer shot there. Thoughts?

That super goes beyond the map! Imagine if it reaches to another lobby💀

What she needs is Focus skipping. With is Mandy would be able to move one tile without Focus being broken. This can only be done for one second before stopping. This keeps the the core of Mandy intact and allows Focus to be used more during a match. Bonus, higher skill ceiling.

I see two ways to fix her standing still mechanic, but it could break her slightly or make her too similar to other brawlers. One solution is you could make it to where the bar charges (like Fang's shield, Bibi's knockback bat, Eve's star power). The other is it is a sort of super type thing, where you hit shots and charge a bar (say you need to hit ~three or four shots to charge a bar) and then your next ~two or three shots are longer, regardless of whether or not you hit or miss, which is a more unique mechanic and allows you to fall back and heal. I don't know if these are changes which are too big for Mandy (it's a partial rework), and she's new so it probably won't happen for a while, but I'm curious to know what other people think :).

I know you turn off music in game to allow for a cohesive music despite cuts, but I hope you didn't miss out on the amazing new background music/song

They should make it where when you stand still with her, once the bar fully loads the screen zooms out so you can see where targets are so you know where to shoot.

I REALLY love her super, guessing where the opponents are is very fun, but using her mechanic more often than not just gets me killed lol

I'm only missing Meg, Sam and Mandy and I'm on track of getting all three this season so I can finally say I have every brawler and quit XD

I don’t play competitive very often, but I had a simple idea that might make the “standing still” at least situationally usable: If you move with the focus bar charged your next shot will keep the increased range With this small change, you can make use of the focus bar slightly more often, gaining the boost as long as you sit still for a bit even by chance, and not only in the perfect camping positions This will probably help hunting down or escaping from brawlers, since you can keep the increased range for a bit longer while following them or escaping them, and this might even grant one more long shot while you move to a position that allows you to charge up again It probably won’t make a great difference, but I believe that it could make it so the focus gimmick is used at all

Thanks for the content! I think Mandy is a fair amount well, and the standing-still mechanic can be useful but only if she is in a bush so no one can see her.

Other thing I feel like should be done for mandi is when she’s focus to have the screen go to the area being focus so that you can see where the enemy is walking and try to hit the enemy better therefore defuse long range aggression

Never knew I needed Kairos screaming “BOINK!” in my life so badly.

I think with 2 buffs it will be reasonable to stand still: 1-less activate time 2- if super range be a timed buff instead of current situation

I feel like if she got more stuff while standing still it'd be better. Maybe a damage buff as well as a small shield.

maybe if the bar didn't instantly diminish she would be better, so you can move but you don't need to wait the entire second if you only make small movements

Hey Kairos! Coming in to thank you for this video. I was struggling, thinking if I should or shouldn't buy the pass to unlock Mandy, since I will have exactly enough to buy it, however... I came to the conclusion that I will save up gems. I don't have enough experience with long rangers and it's not worth it for me Also, good luck with the F2P account! Can't wait for the next vid!

I think the longer range bar takes a bit too long to load, since most game modes are pretty fast paced and you don’t have much time to stand around

From what I have seen of Mandy, she seems like the Frank of sharpshooters. Frank has the most HP out of any tank, is an easily counterable pick and the definition of a tank - high damage, high health, medium range. Meanwhile Mandy is a sharpshooter that can hit you from the opposite side of the map, can easily be countered and could deal the most damage out of any other sharpshooter. I like playing them so I think I will like her. But I will get her via the Brawl Pass, the chroma credit cost is WAY too high for any reasonable person.

Hey Kairos could you maybe do another one of those videos where you show how to push the hardest brawlers to push to like 500 trophies cause im stuck on byron and he doesnt seem to perform well on any map or maybe one video where you show the best modes and maps for every brawler that would really help

I think it would make sense to have it charge on not move but not go away when you do

I would say to make her long range ability more effective, keep the extra long range for like 5 seconds after you have stopped moving for 2, then you can stop and come in moving with longer range

Mythic mandy gear Idea: after long shot is changed, when mandy starts move she gets a 10% speed boost for 2sec. What do you think?

You should do a duels tier list since its now permanent and I feel like gene is really good with his damage star power in that mode

Hey Kairos what do you think happens to the boxes from the starshop. Is it worth saving starcoins?

Rework idea: instead of standing still, you have to aim your attack for a certain amount of time for increased range but a slower movement speed.
