I intended to sell everything I took off my El Camino at Pomona and Long Beach. Filled the bed of the car with parts. In the end I knew it would be a hassle and couldn't be bothered. Threw it all away. Sorry. At least I sold the motor and transmission.

It is a lot of work and time, definitely not for everyone. But we do enjoy it when we have enough items to bring out and sell.

It used to be a blast but when they started trying to make me pay sales tax I said screw it! Then the internet and tv shows killed the normal prices of cars and parts!

Hey I saw your c30 at the Albertsons, in oceanside. Then stumbled across this video and was think "hey I recognize that rad truck". Who would have thought!

My opinion on swap meets; The vender does all the work and “may” benefit from the sales after expenses & time lost. The buyer has a positive benefit each time he finds his part. In addition, the buyer has a lot less time in the venture…..It’s much more fun in finding that part than selling it.

"The only major downside," yup, I've had gigs like that. But you gotta get the load in and then back out twice just for one weekend. They can be the best times or just a weekend with some exercise then sitting around.

Yeah it’s give or take for sure. It’s always good to bring 1 or 2 people along for the ride if you can to make it more enjoyable even when you don’t sell much.
