Am crying, listening to Jules talk about confidence with starting stuff because weh I have been there. One thing that helped me is this verse, 2 Timothy 1:7 FOR GOD DID NOT GIVE US A SPIRIT OF FEAR BUT OF POWER ,LOVE AND SOUND MIND.
Take charge & be intentional about your: 1. Health 2. Fitness 3. Diet 5. Nutrition 6. Mental health & 7. Psychological well Being. Look at your parents, grandparents, aunties & uncles; as they age what health issues have/are they battling, you share the same gene pool with them, so change your lifestyle to avoid/mitigate such health conditions in future. "Genetics load the gun, your lifestyle pulls the trigger."
I did a five year plan. I last did it in 2018. I divide it in terms of Financial, Career, Personal, Spiritual and Family. I was clueless in terms of what I plan to do to achieve the plan. But funny thing I reviewed it recently and realised I have achieved over 85% of it. Now am thinking I should start thinking of my 10 year plan.
The imposter syndrome is what Jules is discussing at around 22.00. Very limiting, self-sabotage. I read a psychology article suggesting that it stems from childhood, where one was expected to perform to the best, and failure was associated with shame. So the subconscious has programmed itself so that when it senses anything that would bring this shame, it triggers you to abandon, retract, or get stuck so that one does not come out as a fraud, failure or something like that. In other words, fear of failure. A very big monster to deal with... How to deal with it? Remember that failure is not to be shamed; it is like undoing the program in your head. Challenging work but doable slowly by slowly

The 5 kinds of hobbies are: 1. To make you money. 2. To keep you creative. 3. To keep you fit. 4. To help you grow professionally. 5. To evoke mindfulness and keep you calm. This I think is a hobby for the soul. For me it's colouring(adult colouring books are amazing) and singing. An hour per week can be amazing to center you. Julz that walking as long as it's centering you, it becomes for the soul.

Journaling really gives me therapy ,every day ,week and monthly plan , writing down my emotions ,what I have to stop ,what I got to learn , what habits is stopping me ,what I should drop to be that person I admire is a game changer for me ,
Great conversation.Congratulations Lornzie!❤
Sending all the love to Lornzie .Can’t wait for her candid takes on motherhood ❤❤❤
I really loved watching this episode. This felt like therapy for sure. Thank you ladies for pouring out those insights. I definitely have some work to do on myself. 💞
I totally feel Jules about setting goals. I've had this conversation so many times on finances with my clients. It's possible to really build out a 10year plan with tactics on how to do those things.
Can't echo enough how much I am loving the content, the topics are enriching, educative and entertaining. Thank you guys.
OMG this is so timely, i have been stopping myself from growing in all aspects for my life. I will come back to read this after I win in what needs to be done🙏🙏
Jules just do your vision board I did mine in October and it felt so good.
Thanks guys! Amazing episode.❤️
I've been challenged.. thanks for the video. I have done my planner now at least till end of year and what I expect next year. Thank you. Also @just ivy..I love you so much..too much wisdom ❤️❤️
Y'all make me happy 😊 Like my tiny little voices in my head cheering me on ❤
The committed Lonzie, when I grow up....I would like to be that committed
Pisces energy probably explains Jules and Shikie's mindset on goal settings...I am pisces too and I had set a goal of being more aggressive this year rather than pinpointing that specific thing. For instance being aggressive will make me apply for those scholarships and job vacancies....and so on. Our mindsets are all different but they work if you truly believe in them and work constantly towards achieving them. Lots of love ladies 😘😍
Hobby for the soul... Meditation is a good one. I've been crocheting for a while( Lonzie hi!) and I thought that's my hobby, no, it's my work. So I started meditation and yoga, it's going great. I'm 27 btw haha... I intend to do this even past 40. Great episode.
"That list doesn't have money" - That was very Ivy😂 Love the consistency guys👏🏽
In love with the consistency 👌🏾
Loved loved this discussion! Yes a financial strategist and life coach (Benjamin, Kuja) would be great! I am with Jules, I used to do long-term goals and now I struggle with - how do I do that guided by God's plan over my life - His will over my will. Twendele, na 30s, 40s here we come! God bless you ladies as you continue multiplying your God given talents!
Point no.1 and I'm like what do I do with myself..uuii..especially how Lornzie asked..'who doesn't have one'...almost getting to my 30 and you ladies inspire me in all aspects of my life.thanks
Ivy vs Jules is a classic case of left brain vs right brain... i never get tired of watching them.🤓🤓
Over 25 Channel is one of the best things that has happened in both the influencer and informative content creation space. The nuggets of wisdom I get from this channel is Priceless! I'm grateful that this channel has been instrumental in shaping the lady i am becoming and slowly getting to love. I deeply lack words to express my gratitude to them. The best part of it all is that the length of the videos has increased 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍, meaning more time to hang out with them virtually🤭😇. Such a deeply refreshing video!🙌
This is my favourite sitting arrangement... the energy is balanced.
Big up great ladies! Now I found the sweetest term to what I've always loved since I was a kid....Hobby for the Soul... That's it. Mine is jogging/running. I do it effortlessly, consistently. It has been my go to activity all through and I influence others effortlessly.

For sentimental "items" I'd advise a skill as well traditions Lost my mum at a young age and some of the things I treasure the most is the skills my mum taught me, doesn't always have to be a thing. Eg my mum always decorated the house for Christmas, and it's something I've carried on. She taught me how to knit , cook certain dishes as well as basic sewing skills and embroidery. Not to mention how to host guests and all that. Means a lot more when your loved one isn't around

Jules💕💕she is such a gem😍😍 please never stop💯
When Ivy asked " that thing doesn't have money?"😂
love the consistency...good job all...
a hobby for the SOUL.....for the SOOOOOUUUULL...WOOOOW💯🙌
About a hobby for the soil, lol, someone mentioned that we all need to pick on a mundane almost boring project/good thing to do that benefits the community around you but also pours into you.... examples.... being concerned about water and sanitation in your community, education for less fortunate kids (getting kids in public schools uniform shoes or paying off their meals in school).... my fav is environmental conservation....
Practicing delayed gratification.. this hit home Ivy. You are looking really great ladies. Maybe ..just maybe you could use your strengths in the show an example Ivy is really really good with money and investment topics, why not start here in the show ..believing in yourself .. enrich us with your knowledge as an episode....its a start...
At 10:05 ; Julia you can try to cater for the contingencies by having a contingency plan. For instance, if business plan A fails, what's the plan B. It can't cater for all contingencies of course but it will be something.
I enjoy the background music...to add to the topic; I recently consulted an investment banker and want to buy an insurance policy for the next 10years. I'm 29 now and I've been thinking how to align my financial goals towards retirement. A hobby for my soul...I need to work on the rest! About relationships, I've be deliberate about who I spend my time with. Been 1 year of cleansing and this girl this year has grown. Thanks team. You're all great
I love it, surround yourself with positive people, yes indeed

I've noticed something in the most recent episodes,There's a kind of disconnect between these ladies, I feel they're are just here for the channel but out they're no longer as close😢

There is one thing missing on the list: if you haven't had a baby and you still want to have one, freeze your eggs because fertility will drastically drop after 40.

Girls, how about working out as a hobby for the soul? My hobbies for the soul which in my family we call happiness habits are reading and exercising, I do these two consistently.
