Jule's first 'what she knows?' I can tell you, it cant be truer. I was born with a disability and I would say that the first 20 years of my life, it was my BIG PAIN. I got into therapy at 20 ivi. Let me tell you, at 26 I have build a whole career around disability. It has served me, my family and my community. I cannot believe it myself sometimes. It is in the radical acceptance of myself that I made a beautiful, beautiful life for myself. Jules is usually in a different vibration, that why she cant even express her thoughts in our normal words 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 I fvcking love her. Love OVER25

I understand where Jules is coming from. For example, you could feel disorganized or messy and completely feel terrible about it maybe because everyone around you is very organized , very plan oriented or whatever, maybe even your parents keep telling you that you’re disorganized. Kumbe that “weakness” is tied to something like art, or creativity, and you use it to create beautiful things, maybe because your mind wonders a lot…

Completely agree with Jules...I always thought I was different coz I couldn't concentrate and my mind would be everywhere I forgot things time and again and I used to HATE myself for it. I couldn't find my purpose in life and I literally listened to every podcast on how to find your purpose on KZread. Turns out me listening to all those video was part of my purpose cause through that I learnt Soo much and I can creatively come up with ideas that help people....inshort your point of pain, anger and frustrations is aligned to why God brought you here. And if you learn to get through it then you become a holding hand to the people behind you experiencing the same

This is such an insightful conversation. Going into my late 20s has been like an epiphany: you can dream all you want but without action you'll always be going in circles. You have to be intentional about where you want to be in life, it's not default. Another thing I know for sure: trash in, trash out. What you feed yourself mentally comprises your quality as a human. Be careful what you let in. It's always an "aha" moment with you guys. Keep being a positive influence to the world ❤.

I love these. Thank you, ladies. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade! To add on Jules point to having weaknesses or facing adversity, a crisis, or even misfortune, you have to use that to your advantage and turn it into a positive thing. Most of the radio or Tv personalities I know today used to be referred to as really loud individuals saying they talk too much/noise makers as if it was a bad thing. But today, look what they are doing? Keeping people entertained with their noise. Many KZreadrs at some point were regarded as ''oversharers'' and it still happens in some spaces somewhere in social circles but see what it has birthed! Communities of helpful and insightful spaces on inexhaustible daily life topics and challenges. Work-life balance does not exist but you can excel at many things in a given time frame. I did not want to bring my spirituality and Bible here but there is a reason God said we cannot serve two masters at ago! You need to concentrate on a thing per time. For example; you can not go drinking and partying every night and then manage to get the kids ready for school every morning and then go to work and remain productive functioning like this 24/7. You can split your hours among things, your days as well, and your months and the year. School time should be school time so that work time does not suffer and work time should be work time so that home time does not suffer etc. There are tools that help with this too. And also, the boundaries help, what are you really hoping to achieve more should set the pace. I know I will get heat for this but to women especially mothers, you need that 20 minutes, 30 minutes, a day off to yourself; the house will not catch fire hopefully but you need to fix yourself somewhere in this equation if it should ever balance at all. Find time to rest.

I think Jules is trying to relay that we all occupy a space that needs to be occupied. Your strengths are there to fill a certain gap, and the same goes for your ‘weaknesses’.

No coincidences in life. Just today I came across my late dad's writings, he loved to write. It went thus: Sow an action, you reap a habit, sow a habit, you reap a character, sow a character, you reap a destiny. My dad has been long gone, he died October 2020, but I see the notes today, only for me to hear Ivy say the same thing just now.

About work life balance. I read a snippet from Shonda Rhime's book "Year of yes" where she said that she got to a point of acceptance that work-life balance might be an illusion. She realised that when she's winning in her career, she's not fully present for her children as she'd want to, and vice versa in different aspects of her life. I found that insightful. So glad you're back💃🏾

I understand exactly what Jules is trying to say. Every human being born into this world will always experience a certain pain that is so unique to them based on their upbringing and environment and only until you overcome that thing in your life is when you can live in your true purpose! There are so many things in our lives that are challenges to us but in reality, they are rooted in something else. Eg. Anger is an emotion rooted in fear. Vengeance is an emotion rooted in the offense. In fact, a lot of things we struggle with are rooted in fear, so it is fear that we need to overcome but instead, we spend years of our lives fighting anger, vengeance, etc when the entire time we didn't realize it is fear that was always behind the circumstances happening around us.

I absolutely get what Jules said. A good example of myself is growing up, I always asked questions and never accepted how adults and the society at large expects us to follow some 'rules' even when they don't make sense. My curiosity was not welcomed majorly because in my tribe, children and girls are seen as a decoration and are not expected to contribute any intellectual meaning to life. I never stopped asking questions and this caused friction at home especially with my mom because i was not being a 'good model daughter'. Now in my twenties and truly finding my ground with the kind of life i want to live, I have realized that me using my voice is my greatest joy and contribution towards creating a better world. For sure it comes with consequences but i realize that the backlash i received in my childhood has built me and now i can speak on behalf of those who cannot. My voice cannot be silenced and i have embraced it and just like the women who sacrificed so much of their lives to fight for a world that is worthy of living in, I am keeping that torch alive, using my voice, to pass it on to those who are yet to come. ☺

We are constantly changing and experiencing some level of growth even when we don't notice. Times will keep shifting and every season is going to be different. Just because you are going through a difficult situation right now, it doesn't mean you are doomed for eternity. It too shall pass. So will happy times. Just live life as it comes and keep pushing.

Here's my 2 cents on the conversation about dedication: My background is in Finance however my goal is to shift to marketing and I am currently pursuing a Digital Marketing Course. However, because I am qualified to get Finance jobs, I decided to dedicate myself to the Finance job as I get through Marketing school and when I'm done I'll be qualified to work in the Marketing Industry and will be able to fully immerse myself in Marketing. Also, working in general is giving me the experience that I require such that when I start working in marketing I'll be so versed and enriched in business operations. Sometimes you may not love what you do, but as Julia said, it's definitely aligned to a greater purpose

Welcome back. Feeling this content. So, Destiny Cycle >Habits become patterns...patterns become beliefs and back to thoughts. That's how it passes on to your children and guys start to believe 'that family is cursed' or something. The patterns.

I have a friend whom I used to have these kinds of conversations with, but she relocated and we lost touch and I really miss her. Thank you ladies for sharing your friendship with us. It's a beautiful gift.

What I know for sure? Deliberate practice precedes flow. Before you can start doing something effortlessly, you have to do it effortfully numerous times. 10,000-hour rule

Eeeish💕❤️best part for my life leveling, joting anything I think down always makes me figure out everything and it's been months now that my notebook has been my great friend, anything that I always think of and put to in actions shifts to real habits📚🤗 I even remember there's an educator that told me that if you really want something try doing it continuously for 3weeks then wait for the results🙏🙏But all in all it's been God✨

I almost wondered when you would upload. Finally. This episode was deep.im going to do a follow up podcast based on this especially what you said Jules on mastering our inner citric and knowing that our pains and challenges actually serve our purpose.Without the enormous hurddle nobody would have known say women who struggle with fertility. The infertility was their purpose.Sounds strange but I now believe my pains are for a cause greater than myself

Wow...I've never loved an episode so much. It was just the exact soul food that my soul needed to lay out the map for my mind and heart. I identify so much with Jules like...I'm this deeply feeling person who wholly immerses themselves in every emotion and experience that it gets so difficult to navigate sometimes...you're just like, I need to pause for a minute. And I've been struggling to accept its relevance coz of its frequency cz I'm like...do I even have time for this? But what I've come to learn through this and still keep at it is letting go..(acceptance) & just trusting the process, that Higher Power because God's Will, will not lead us where His Grace cannot protect us...most times we try to silence that inner voice and thats where its reocurrence will forever be a bane in ones existence.
