HVL cracks me up. I think HVL has lost her confidence and is procrastinating abt where to go. Nothing is truly wrong with that. However, hasn't she realized that she is not a PG. As a joke I would love to see her at Stanford bc her transfer is becoming a huge joke. I agree with you on the entire HVL saga. I definitely wouldn't want HVL at UCONN in any role. Sadly I don't care where she ends bc her entire transfer has become a joke.

I love this! The latest episode of, "HVL, the soap opera" continues. I've come to believe that she does this intentionally to keep her name in the spotlight. It's no different than the movie stars who do crazy things in order to get their picture on the latest cover of the tabloids. If she didn't want this to happen, she could have denied the TCU commitment days ago. Please, as a UCLA fan, don't recommend UCLA for her. As much as I love this soap opera, I think she would be a big distraction for whatever team she ends up with.

I suspect that HVL leaked the news privately and then changed her mind. I wonder how this impacts Maddie Scherr. Maybe Scherr committed because she thought she will be playing with Hailey. That being said, she HVL may still end up going to TCU.

I think she is just backing out.

This is just delicious! Okay, next time everyone will have to preface their story with, HVL could be, might be, may be, possibly going to ....... whatever school she ends up with. The only way she could top this is by returning to Louisville, and then for her to say, "that was my plan all along."

If HVL’s ultimate goal is to play in the WNBA, she has a long way to go. Her draft stock to a HUGE hit with her play at LSU. She was such a prolific scorer Louisville, but she couldn’t buy a bucket during the tournament. She needs to go somewhere and play the off guard so she can do some serious scoring-that is her bread and butter if she wants to draw any interest in the WNBA. She will not do it as a point guard, her passing is terrible, every time she tried to drive to the basket she was blocked, and her defense is suspect. SEC teams really figured out her weaknesses and exploited them.

Love Kaitlyn Chen. Saw her play UCONN, plus various video clips and was very impressed. Her upside is she hasn't left her school because of disgruntlement but because the Ivy League won't let them participate post graduate. So she believes in commitment and is not an attitude problem.

Going to be a defensive liability wherever she goes. TCU should move on because she doesn’t move the needle in terms of wins and losses.

Honestly, HVL doesnt have the versatility to make an ever-decreasing pool of W spots. She did well in a Louisville system centred on her game that suited her drives. But her all-round game is completely stagnant and LSU was a learning experience for her and any coaches watching with a view to the future. Should just target a school out of the P5 glare to go back to basics and put the ego back in its box until she's worked on her defense

she didn’t back out? press ran with her intimate visit with TCU which didn’t necessarily mean she was signing.

I truly believe she hadn't given her word to any team and is going to wait as long as possible to sign. She is going to make sure she goes to a situation where she can put up at least 15 shots a game.

You do a great job, She went to LSU to win a championship not to learn or get better now I believe she's just trying to get a shot at the W with a random School, whoever is giving her advice and suggestions are not doing a good job

HVL showed the hate on social media can get to anyone because she shut it down. I remember Paige saying she stays off of social media because it can be quite venomous. ( my word, not Paige's)

It is what it is. She is right, no ink, no commitment. The player needs to look for what is best for herself. You are right, the press needs to be more careful on speculating. Like you said, it will soon be over and I hope it’s good for her. She has represented the USA in many competitions and deserves that respect.

She should have never left Louisville and she was never a good fit for Mulkeys system...she should have been thinking about where she could develop best as a player...now next season she is going to run up against gaurds like Bueckers, Hidalgo and Watkins....good luck with that while you waffle your pre season away.

She committed and saw the other Haley Cavinder leaving and decided to back out. Now she wants to reconsider her options which is shitty. The whole transfer portal/nil is allowing these young athletes to do what they want and taking away the loyalty and dedication away from teams/schools.

I've argued she's already "broken" she took her shot at pg, found wanting. so find a school, fix your game, make a little NIL, and most importantly enjoy herself She's not making it to the WNBA.

Really tired of her antics. She's someone who will not make it in the WNBA. Why doesn't she trying starring in a D3 school and leave the rest of us alone.

If she wants to be the star of the team she might be better off going to a D2 or 3 team.

You know, it's time to stop talking about her. I mean, like period. She'll make it, or she won't. She'll play, or she won't. She'll be great, or she'll be good, or she'll ride the pine. The time to talk about HVL is after she does something wonderful. She was on her way with her old school, but she blew that out of the water with LSU. Fine. So be it. Done is done. And so is she, unless and until she shows me something.

I think it's no big deal. Remember her age. When I was her age, a really good athlete but I was all over the place. It'll settle and she will be fine. I think LSU is finished. Mulkey is a pariah.
