Both my girls have been playing ball for 6 years AAU and school ball. I've been following CC for 4 years, and I've never heard of either of these players. If it wasn't for CC, I'd never watch the WNBA, but now I'm open to learning about different players. @Leo6933 I know.....I can't explain it. We've just been to college games . I can name you all the starters on SC, UCONN, Iowa, and LSU. Girls basketball (on the school level) has taken off drastically after covid. In our area, there were only 4 or 5 AAU teams. Now I can't even count how many their are. My one girl in high school plays for two AAU teams and school ball. I guess my poi t is that We've been following CC for years, so it's a natural transition to THE W.

She realizes she will finally get more of the attention she deserves, now that Clark has brought more media focus to the WNBA. Jonquel Jones' comments were also great to hear. She understands that it will take a while for Clark to mature into playing at this level. People are in denial about the impact this woman has had on women’s basketball. The hate and jealousy she is getting when she is bringing major dollars to the league by way of the attention that is drawn to her because of her on court performances and how she handles herself with the media. This will all die down eventually but her peers would be wise to appreciate what she has brought, ride the wave and enjoy the moment because it is t going to last forever.

If Clarke had an easy start dominating the league and then the legue adjust to her and crushing her later that might be worse. She is coming in raw rookie tierd from college season. Target on her. Watched my 1st WNBA game EVER Friday night because of Caitlin Clark. She scored 30...
Both my girls have been playing ball for 6 years AAU and school ball. I've been following CC for 4 years, and I've never heard of either of these players. If it wasn't for CC, I'd never watch the WNBA, but now I'm open to learning about different players. I hope they know how lucky they are to have someone like her and not someone who's arrogant and self-centered. She's made it clear that thos is for all the wbna and not just her.

@Leo6933 I know.....I can't explain it. We've just been to college games . I can name you all the starters on SC, UCONN, Iowa, and LSU. Girls basketball (on the school level) has taken off drastically after covid. In our area, there were only 4 or 5 AAU teams. Now I can't even count how many their are. My one girl in high school plays for two AAU teams and school ball. I guess my poi t is that We've been following CC for years, so it's a natural transition to THE W.

It was truly refreshing to see this professional, honest, and on point interview about Clark given the vast majority of rather wild takes and flagrant jealous hate floating around both the league and the media.
As a 39 yr old blk male that has been watching and playing basketball for 20+ yrs I remember when the league started and this is the first time EVER I will watch a WNBA game. I barely was able to get thru the highlights without scrolling past

Breanna Stewart is great in many ways. A great basketball player, perhaps the best and her attitude towards Clark and how she played her so tough and fair without an attitude shows there is another way of reacting to Clark that is a win/win for everyone.

Breanna with the great answers! In depth, looking ahead, she has a perfect and clear perspective on things.
Breanna Stewart is quite clearly the best player in the league right now. She realizes she will finally get more of the attention she deserves, now that Clark has brought more media focus to the WNBA. Jonquel Jones' comments were also great to hear. She understands that it will take a while for Clark to mature into playing at this level. I just hope that cheap shots by other players, motivated by whatever it is that causes people to act like that, doesn't wind up killing the golden goose.
