But if these players keep trying to perminantly hurt these rookies. All that money disappears really quickly. Cause the wnba looks like mean girls the movie. @@hottrakz How about the players show some class and respect for each other and the game. The illegal fouls off the ball (especially Chennedy) are ridiculous. They could blow their chance to become a relevant sport if they do not show respect for Clark and each other.

Breanna Stewart is quite clearly the best player in the league right now. She realizes she will finally get more of the attention she deserves, now that Clark has brought more media focus to the WNBA. Jonquel Jones' comments were also great to hear. She understands that it will take a while for Clark to mature into playing at this level. I just hope that cheap shots by other players, motivated by whatever it is that causes people to act like that, doesn't wind up killing the golden goose.

People are in denial about the impact this woman has had on women’s basketball. The hate and jealousy she is getting when she is bringing major dollars to the league by way of the attention that is drawn to her because of her on court performances and how she handles herself with the media. This will all die down eventually but her peers would be wise to appreciate what she has brought, ride the wave and enjoy the moment because it is t going to last forever.

If Clarke had an easy start dominating the league and then the legue adjust to her and crushing her later that might be worse. She is coming in raw rookie tierd from college season. Target on her. The money ,in endorsments, shooting, and money green money for the whole league . Once she adjust her game ,plays half a season and lets see.
