Moreover if i see a lion den in front of me. I will intentionally go there and when the lion eats me (which is a part of food chain) i will say omg this lion is so bad. This entire forest is bad. Goa police is definitely the worst and most corrupt police in India

As a local with generations born and brought up in Goa, I can attest to the fact it used to be one of the safest places growing up. We didn't even close our doors until late night. That has changed in the recent years. Unfortunately I don't feel safe stepping out after dusk anymore! We miss Parrikar.

Goa once upon a time used to be a safe place before, but now it is not. It is filled with outsiders who are uneducated and look at girls in a different way. Yes, the police should have also asked him what he was doing so late at the beach. Most of the rape or physical assault cases which happen in Goa are done by OUTSIDERS who are NOT GOANS. Buh these are the ones who come for job from other states. Sadly there are no strict rules and norms to be followed for these people who come to work. Goa has big drugs and alcohol problem. There are timings written everywhere in beach because people died on beaches. After certain hours there is drug dealers are in beach or if party they take permission. Police people would have thought you are one of them and you are not first or last person who get high in beach . So treat same you as drug and alcohol high people. I Visit Goa every year it's perfectly safe for normal visitor.
