Glad to know you had a relatively safer experience! Old city areas where you went (teen darwaza, manekchowk, etc) can definitely become a little problematic on some days, but the rest of the city is bang on! Very very well lit and cops are always patrolling! Being a dry city is definitely one of the main reason of it being safer than other cities. Thanks for sharing the awareness through this video.

Hey, we definitely had a safe experience in Ahmedabad. Teen Darwaza did feel a little creepy because it wasn't so well lit and there weren't much people around, but we are glad we did not face any issues there. 😊

Ahmedabad is the safest city in whole india specially at night bcz only here you can go out night without any kind of mischievous thing honestly i traveled alone so many cities in mp up Maharashtra rajasthan kolkata shimla manali etc and i experienced that after 9pm this cities never safe to traveled alone but Ahmedabad is my parents allowed me to go out at night in Ahmedabad bcz they know the Ahmedabad is safest but because of some non gujjus some poor things happen and sorry for that!

@@Fatimahaidarii bcz in that area murders arr frequent. also whenever you go there for shopping they (mostly sellers in that area are muslims ) keep staring at you like never seen a woman/ girl earlier. That market is cheeper then any other market of Gujarat plus they have so many varieties so we choose that market. It is highly advisable if you wanna go there please go with your male friend or any other male person whom you can trust otherwise it is very dangerous place. And be aware.

Even some college boys don't feel safe at night 'walking alone' in some cities yeah they face different kind of threat most commonly robbery ,snatching stuff

Hey, I am a localite in Ahmedabad, I really agree with you when you said that some areas are safe while others are not. Well, that is definitely true you roamed around the older parts of Ahmedabad where you might come across eve teasing and etc but the newer part of Ahmedabad such as Sindhu Bhawan Road, Thaltej, Science city basically after crossing the bridge and coming to the other side of the river, the city becomes really safe. I remember one time, I was coming back to Ahmedabad from other city at 4 in the morning and we were stopped by 3 cops at different areas for regular patrolling, they thoroughly made sure that everything was okay in the car, there was nothing illegal thing ongoing on. so basically yes, in comparison to other cities, police force of Ahmedabad works hard in night to keep the city safe. Another thing mentioned in your video, it is practically compulsory for autos to have their owner's name, driver name, women helpline, police helpline and ambulance helpline along with their auto number to be written inside the auto to aid the passenger in any inconvenience or emergency, which is a superb initiative, I think.

I myself do night'shift in vadodara travel all the way alone but never ever felt unsafe here but again it depends from area to area but yes i admit I have seen lot of petroling in night'times in vadodara ...so its kind of safe

Exactly! There are a lot of safety measures and initiatives adopted by our government, however, barely anyone knows about them. Safety islands and panic buttons are available in India as well but there's not information about it on the web.

I'm a mumbaikar and my native place is ahemdabad. Once me and my best friend went for a short trip. We reached there quiet early in the morning. We reached our hotel but the men there were very bad. They have a very bad sight. They were checking out us again and again. Worst experience.

Similarly, the clothes which you wore are normal in the western part of Ahmedabad but not in the eastern part like Kalupur station, Saraspur and all. Ahmedabad is really safe.par aap sabhi area me jaa nahi sakte. It’s common sense.old ahemdabad is little risky.River ke opposite area me jao, udhar ka area mostly safe he. You are not safe even if it’s new york. Don’t go to risky area of any city. Baki puri raat gumo ahemedabad me.

I stay in Ahmedabad, and i am from other state i would not say 100% safe. I have seen creepy people and honestly and its always stay careful.
