    Mostly it is! I don’t understand why people are trying to dance around the big salary they gave him. Here’s a question for all, if Daks $59 or $60 million salary is not the problem, then why are all the pundits defending that’s it’s not? Mostly every conversation is discussing about his salary holding up the Cowboys in trade. This deal was a FU 3 years ago.

    As a Dallas Cowboys fan, the blame falls 100% on Jerry and his FO. Dak has so much leverage because he requests (AND gets) high payday, high guaranteed money but on short-year contracts. He mangled his ankle and he still got his current contract. These short-year contracts means a huge cap hit in the last year essentially forcing the Cowboys to extend (likely for the same criteria) or eat a giant cap hit and potentially losing Dak in free agency. I don't blame Dak for trying to get that money (only for his craptacular playoff performances) but Cowboys FO basically gifted him all this leverage. Jerry has gone on the record to say that he does not have much time left and wants to win another SB badly. At the end of the day, it's a business...Agents are going to take advantage of his comments to maximize their clients' pockets (including Dak).

    Severely underrated comment. I’m biased in saying this but I feel as though drafted players should have a smaller cap hit or no cap hit simply because they were drafted although most would disagree and I understand. I also understand that there are other teams with multiple studs on the team and they never seem to have as much cap issues which leads me to believe the Jones’ are terrible with managing cap space.

    That "12 games three years in a row" thing is not as compelling as ESPN loves to keep telling us it is. This team is imploding with infighting by proxy. It's had huge turnover in coaching under the head coach. It's lost key people on the OL, has no viable RB, and nobody to stop the run (one LB isn't going to erase the book on how to run them over).

  • @jeremiahw1369
    @jeremiahw1369Ай бұрын

    I don't understand why people think Fields and Williams could co exist in the Bears qb room. It's not exactly Joe Montana and Steve Young or Brett Favre and Rodgers or Alex Smith and Mahomes, but a team that keeps picking in the top 10 that hasn't had a good qb in franchise history. Let it play out. Money isn't a problem. We talking about feelings? Rivers sat behind Brees on his way out. Smith was 14 and 2 the year before Mahomes ascended. Relax. It's just the qb of the Bears.

    Dallas fan, stop talking bout this dude already @CTESPN. Give the attention to guys like CJ Stroud Jordan Love or even Will Levis. Dak has only proven the same thing over and over and should be the first cowboy on the team to restructure that contract. @Jerry Jones please don’t pay him more than 20 mil Dak doesn’t deserve all this attention

    If Dak was a Team Player, he'd take a Team Friendly Deal... Dude gotta go, it's supposed to be an honor wearing the Blue and Silver. Let him walk after this year!

    Extending an average player and selfish person like Dak is a mistake. Humiliate him til he agrees to a trade or let him sit on the bench next year and tank the season.

    Dak Prescott ain’t worth $60,000 I would have cut him a long time ago. Cowboys need to get them a quarterback in the draft. The guy only has two playoff wins and eight seasons, ridiculous and he wants more money for what
