C1 are not worth ratting... wtf there's only 1 combat site and sometimes data/relic unsecured sites. That isk is literally lower than doing L4 missions C1 wormholes are for Pi and Industry (Mining Ore and setting up POCOs and drrills for Moon Mining) i literally live in c1 atm, and have other c3's wh's with my few mates. Yeah theyt are def not worth it for combat... like i sayd C1's are mining and Pi. mostly there's little connection into it , so its relatively "safe" to even afk mine... throw up a mobile warp disrupt and afk mine in a retriever salvage is completley pointless as its only 1,1-1,2mil lol you gonna rekt in a Perimeter Camp with frigate. i resulted in using light drones, cuz hammerheards just get shredded from the npcs , so you can imagine how hard the ships will hit frigate using anything larger than light drones requires remote armor reppers to keep them alive , getting hammerheads popped so much, the cost of drones will be as much as the sites earn lol, if u dont micro them hard lol @ low dmg... Praxis in 50% shield down , every single time (since i dont bother turning on shield boosters , cuz free repairs in astrahus) c1 combat site and c2 combat site difference is very small, but rewards are way higher in c2... well i couldnt tank them in Gnosis , tried to seal other ppeople wh sites :D (i maybe misread and went to c3 and c4... had to warp out 3 times with Gnosis) ... but c1 is pretty decent to learn how wormhole space works indeed.... what the classaifcations are... whjat Designations lead to where etc... if u dont bookmark returns... you literally will get lost in space..... :D ive literally memorized my c1 designations :D that J244 leads to lowsec and can get to empire there. N110 will lead directly to highsec. K162 generic wh exit etc... new players need to learn these things.... Or they will accidentally like go into c4-c6 and get fcked up :D

@@Microphunktv-jb3kj In my experience with my Alpha, C1 are worth more then C2. I've got a Brutix fit that that can run C1 sites faster then anything I can get out of a C2. I found the incoming DPS in C2 and the time to kill the rats vs the value of loot to be less. Loot/hour for me was noticeably better with 'less risk' in C1. The trick to C1 is to bliz them as fast as plausible where my bottle neck is waiting for the MTU. So think not high sheet dps, think anti frig BC. Run a dual 150mm with tracking/webs. Oh, and I tested a lot of other BC's, this ones the best. The only way I figure running C2 would be better would be buying ships multiple times more expensive. Really pushing what Alphas can fly as you got to put the ISK into the ship to which I think the ISK/RISK ratio is not worth it.

old video comment, but I was just looking at this as an experiment. With this particular fit, it is actually CHEAPER to use shadow serpentis membranes (at least at time of writing) by quite a lot compared to T2, for some stuff T2 is NOT the cheapest option. It also helped me get more CPU out, because with some other changes I made it was very close.

Battlecruisers are bearly larger than cruisers. You can bring your Drake to a C1 I have done it.

They really should do something with C1s, other than practice for higher class or just for the hell of it, there's really no reason to be doing these when you can make 100m/hr flying a wreathe in homefronts.

Which do you think is better for wh mapping Pathfinder or Tripwire and why?

I've used both, and both are great. That said, I personally prefer Tripwire. It takes less initial setup, sure Pathfinder has more features but I never needed them, and Tripwire is still actively developed (and supported by CCP via the Partner Program)

For us T1 ppl, how close does a DD come to the performance of an assault frig in these situations? Like a rocket Corax or a rail Cormorant compared to the Hawk?

By DD you mean Destroyer, I assume, not Daredevil? C1s can be run on a Corax, Cormorant or other T1 Dessie, but you'll want a solid fit. Arbalests, that kind of thing, not "Light Missile Launcher I" etc.

@@captainbenzie DD is the naval denomination of destroyer :) in a 2 letter config it stands for "destroyer destroyer", it's this way because we have CL and CH for example, cruiser (light) and cruiser (heavy), DE for "destroyer escort"...

Funnily engouh, CV does not stand for "Carrier vessel", it's from the French voler, "to fly", and the C is cruiser

@@moreteaplease8942 at meta 4, and assuming 4 in skills, the Hawk is going to pull ahead, but not by a HUGE amount.

Basically there are a couple of different kinds of filaments. Some take uou to abyssal dead space. These are called tranquil/calm/agitated/chaotic etc. these will take you into an arena where ALL of the enemies must be killed before the 20 min time limit expires. If you fail these then you die - this includes your capsule. I’d advise you to start with tranquil ones which are the easiest. Other notable filaments are the noise and signal needle jack filaments which take you into a random null sec system. The noise supposedly take you to a quieter system whereas the signal ones take you to a busier system. These can be useful for getting into null sec for exploration purposes. The other notable filaments are the pochven ones. These will normally have names including a clade name in them. These can be useful for getting out of null sec in a hurry and back to the safety of hi sec by then using a different filament known as a glorification filament. Hope this helps..?!

@mellogo1d191 so, how does one use the filaments? Now I understand what they do and thank you for that. The only problem left is where does one use them? Can you just undock and use one after a certain distance or something like that, or do you use wormholes for the location? I've never used one so I am very much in the dark. Come to think of it, I don't recall them being in game when I tried Eve several years ago.

@@lonniefennel4024you can use them anywhere in K-space you just have to be further than 1000km away from any objects/celestials nearby I think it is 1000km anyway…I’d have to check though..!

What about using the AoE damage frig?

The Skybreaker? Probably not a bad idea, but a very expensive ship (both ISK and SP) for it.

BC is the largest and Nestor is uniquely small so it too is allowed through. So If you can fit BCs in and even a Nestor why limit yourself to slow clear speeds of a frig. Then you gotta ask yourself if you can do a BC or Nestor why not C3 or C2s

Yeah, that's why frigates. Cheap option for newer players. Not everyone can fly a Nestor... And many of the C1 holes do NOT allow BCs.

Nergal works but is significantly more expensive than a Kiki. Kiki runs C1, C2, C13, and C3s

So, I wanna know what sort of sites an Alpha clone versed in the Caldari ship culture can run, no Tech II or III's. Everyone always have videos and guides for Tech II/III, I can't get into any of those for months.

Consider a Corax or Cormorant for these sites. Though you'll want a solid fit. Training an Assault Frigate like the Hawk is very quick and easy to do, though.

Do I really need to be in a dread to kill a dread?

we really need 100% noob tutorials and stuf. Every "frigate only" video or fit i found uses high tech and expensive builds that i cant either afford to pay or flay cz the skill points. I have the feeling that EVE is just NOT WORTH for new players, and it just force us to create 4 or 5 accounts, let them "studying" for 5 or 6 months, and only then come back to the game. Isnt there any solution to this?

You can do abbssal and fw in a t1 frig and make alot of money per hour you cant just jump right into all content .

Same feeling, I've been flying with EVE Uni and now Signal Cartel and still can't get into a Tech II ship, can't afford a Gila either, everyone said Worm is good for T1 Abyssals and I barely got out of the first one I did with E-Uni recommended fit. I Have no idea how to do a T2/T3 Abyssal on a ship I can fly, did a T2 electrical in a Caracal, got insta deleted by 2 ships sitting over 60Kms away couldn't even reach close enough to target lock. My friends told me I have to do a spiral maneuver but I was too demoralized to re-fit and try. I dunno if I can do C3 WH on my Drake. You have to be trained for everything efficiently, have to do everything efficiently otherwise you're just wasting ISK instead of making it. Made more isk day-trading in Jita so far than anything else and I don't even have decent trade skill. All the cool ships require proper skill plan and training and they'll take months.

@@Chevalier_knight abys in low tec with cheap equip, low skills and cheap ammo is not fast. every tutorial means to rerun the T0 abys for an entire hour, and they just speedrun the site in 3-4 minutes. Obiusly, doing that for an hour is a way to make ISK. But if ur noob and u take 15 minutes to clear the T0 abys, u are not making efficient ISK. And its also extremely boring. Almost as boring as mining
