8:31 As far as the fitting goes, I've always felt that one way to take advantage of having lots of available powergrid in your fitting space while wanting to achieve capacitor stability is to fit some cap batteries to your ship, and when possible fitting an oversized cap battery. For ships that can afford the powergrid in the fitting, cap batteries give you more overall capacitor as well as improve your ship's recharge rate for cap stability (sometimes even more than a cap recharger). And it's not irrelevant that a cap battery protecting against energy neutralizers will give you an extra layer of protection if a pilot or a small gang try to hunt you down and take you out.

I really love your videos, but you should know , again, that the drone dps is added to the hardpoints. Your overall DPS is 763. Please, try to remove the drones or your hardpoints and look at your DPS. This is the only thing you should fix in your videos. Really nice work and thanks for bringing life to EVE. :D

I am a new fish. Just yesterday, I drove a Praxis into C2WH and was killed by a group of people who suddenly appeared. This has consumed all my assets for me. The wormhole is extremely unfriendly to newcomers, and there are too many people inside who fight for no reason.😭😭😭😭😭

D-Scan is your friend. They don't appear from nowhere, you just have to be watching like a hawk and preferably with friends around you to help too. It's also not for no reason. Wormholes are dangerous and everyone must be treated like a threat. All part and parcel of it. Are you part of a wormhole corp?

Learning the hard way how this game works. Don’t invest all your money and go into the most dangerous space in the game with no knowledge other than that you can kill the npcs. He mentions the dangers many times in the video and it happens more often than not that people will go after you.

Yup, burning away all your assets in one ship and losing it is a quick way to hate the game and never touch it again xD EVE has sooo much to offer, fly what you can afford to lose, have fun, and soon those shiny expensive ships will be more approachable ;)

Nice! I wanted to keep the fit fairly cheap and not TOO skill intensive though!

Staying aligned is much safer than being stationary. Same moment you see someone on dscan you can jsut warp out. This way you can only get ganked by not paying attention and find yourself in a bubble. Staying stationary on the other hand will render you just sitting duck. Argument that you keep flying away from sleepers is invalid - cruise missiles have very long range. That being said i tend to use Raven instead of Praxis. Anyways, thx for the video! Fly safe o7

The Praxis is an incredible PVE ship in general. It only really has one flaw, its by far the slowest battleship with a lower top speed than some capitals. But for wormhole sites and most PVE, speed is pretty irrelevant

Just rocked two remote cap transfer praxis into a c3 and it absolutely crushed it. You can get 800+ dps on both ships and the cap is really good without all those low slots and mid slots filled with cap mods, you just stop cap transferring from the ship that is getting targeted/neuted if your cap gets low. Great cheap alternative to remote rep domis or t3cs. Only 500 mil total for both ships and dang do they align fast. Also using sentry drones on both and switching to lights to take out frigates.

Cheap compared to other battleships or even C3 runners - my Tengu costs 750m!! 😂 Something aspirational to work towards, and lasers might work! It'll have capacitor issues, I imagine so that will need to be taken into account!

Yes, I did a video on wormhole rolling that showcases the fit used. As for C4s, they're basically for groups of C3 runners due to the spawn ranges etc. Don't try and solo C4 sites - except maybe the Integrated Terminus. They have super long spawn ranges and will overpower most C3 running ships.

If it can run C3s, then Nullsec Anomalies should be doable. Rally Points directly, I don't know. Check EVE Survival (or Google the full anomaly name) and check incoming damage against the tank etc.

Just a heads up: Dscanning is a lot more effective when you use the full 14au range. Other than that great video.

Buy them unless you want to go industry. Don't try and spread your SP too wide early. Do the Career Agents (all of them), then look into the AIR Career Program. I have a playlist for that on my main page.

Captain benzie i was thinking about trying wormhole combat sites but i see some fits that dont include a cloak or a probe scanner, both of which i thought were mandatory for wormhole, i was just curious what would happen if someone is trying to hunt you down, do you keep warping around from point to point until they give up since you dont have a cloak? & i can imagine a scanario where someone is hunting you but the wormhole you came from is closed but you dont have a probe scanner equipped to scan a new exit to run away, im just cuious whats your general strategy concerning this, sorry for long comment 🍺

TL;DR - Modified fit based on my skills Swapped to Rapid Heavies, swapped to x-large clarity booster, double copasetic amps, dropped CPU coprocessor, added additional missile/drone BCU thingy. 810dps(2925 volley), 754.8ehps, 50.9km missile range, 54km drone range [^^ according to PYFA ^^] {low heavy missile - no bs - 4s where I should have 5s that affect CPU} ======================== I dont have Heavy, Heavy Assault, or Cruise Missiles trained beyond III currently so I had to adjust a couple things. it does "require" an implant, but its a 1% implant and fairly cheap. i recommend caldari light missile on corax and run tier 0 abyssals, if you are willing to omega, rocket hawk will blitz t2 abyss good, they can all be done in highsec. after that, you can upgrade to cerberus and run t4-5 or if alpha, gila t3-4 will do

I dont know much about the actual faction ship trees in Eve Online but i do know that a couple ship trees are locked behind Omega such as the Triglavian ship tree. Is the Praxis locked behind that as well?

My concern is that you're sacrificing something to get that, and a Stabilizer won't stop a scram if they're close enough to use one, let alone a faction level Disruptor. It'll only work if they have a BASIC disruptor.

I am not sure whether this fit will work with C3 data or relic sites :) Maybe some more expensive version?

C3 Relic and Data sites (Forgotten and Unsecured) are almost on par with C4 combats. It can run them, you just need to be careful and know your target priorities.

PSA: I know Benzie knows this now, but total DPS is only 760ish, not 1000. Also, (talking to you now Benzie) I'm wondering if you'd do better to just run a large shield booster instead of the X-large. If you're not running the booster all the time, a large one would be more cap efficient and might give you room to upsize other things with spare cpu.

I did consider just using a Large on full cycle but the tank isn't sufficient on Outposts, you're likely to hit armour. The X-L temporarily running will tank it all until you've reduced incoming DPS and then you can let your cap recharge.

Also the DPS calculator does not work with missiles. I have 6 cruise with target painter at 100km range. According to EVE my DPS is 297. It's not. I burst damage for 4k per volley.

With not being cap stable how are you dealing with neuts from the sites ???

You're cap stable without everything running, so you cycle as needed, and you have the DPS to clear neuts to reduce the neutralisation and DPS to a manageable point

Go in video options and turn off DOF ( depth of field). Is a stupid option anyway because it makes the ships look smaller.

There's an MTU already in with this, as C3 ratting without one is awful, but honestly, sitting in site for ages afterwards and salvaging in a Praxis is a surefire way to get popped. What I do is drop MTU, bookmark it, complete site and move on, scooping the MTU but keeping bookmarks. Then, after multiple sites, I dock up and swap to a dedicated Salvage ship like the Thrasher shown in my recent Salvage video. Much safer and quicker!

With rapid heavy’s even without tech 2 you’re pushing 950-1000 dps with the heavy drones

This is my cap stable 895.6DPS + 357.2DPS drone damage Praxis, can probably optimise but haven't flown it in 4 years. Works great. If you turn off the AB you can overheat the shield booster and stay cap stable, too. Volley damage is listed as 2035HP. Rigs: 2x Large Capacitor Control Circuit II, 1 Large Warhead Flare Catalyst I High slots: 6x Rapid Heavy Missile Launcher II (Ammo: Scourge Fury Heavy Missile) Mid slots: Dread Guristas X-Large Shield Booster, Republic Fleet Large Cap Battery, 3x Multispectrum Shield Hardener II, Stalwart Restrained Shield Boost Amplifier, 100MN Afterburner II Low slots: 4x Capacitor Flux Coil II, 2x Drone Damage Amplifier II, 'Dyad' Co-Processor I.

Back when I still played EVE I used the Praxis for a while, but I found it a bit boring and even worse I am somewhat impatient therfore I never could get used to its slow speed compared to my beloved Minmatar Typhoon. Still a good ship and a somewhat cheap hull I think.

its a bit contradictory to praise how little skills you need and then fit a ship that basically so tight on fit you need a lot of stuff maxed out to even cram it in. on your next vid of the kind maybe give two fits a im playing eve for 10y fit and a fit that someone a few months old could realistically fit not only afford.

Doesn't require battleship skills, and you can always drop the Cruise Missiles to Arbalests for a shorter training since that cuts off Cruise Missiles V which is 24d alone.
