One thing that wasn’t mentioned that is critical to passive shield tanking is the regeneration gradient. Shield regeneration is lowest at 100%, and this is the value shown in the fitting screen. It maxes out at 30% shield, though I don’t know the formula. Tl;dr if your shield doesn’t stabilize by 30% you are not going to tank it.
I know, give the old haulers 50mbit of drone bandwidth and a 75m3 drone bay! 😂
I've been playing eve since 2007 and I always thought it was pretty stupid that haulers and Freighters had no weapon slots. Maybe CCP should just give them all some high slots.
It's for balance purposes. It makes freighters vulnerable, strongly incentivising teamwork.
Well sure but I don't think giving them a couple of slots would unbalance things that much, maybe just give them a chance to get away from that solo tackler before his Fleet can arrive.
I've already bought and fit a couple of squalls and I wouldn't want to fight an arbitrator in one that's for sure.
The squalls damage potential is quite low and I have maxxed skills.

It's called an intro to explain what's going on in the video. If I don't do this, people complain as they expect something that I don't deliver on. I also have to mention the things that support my business as, again, if they're not mentioned, my stats show that they don't happen (like hitting like etc, don't mention it and the video gets less engagement which means fewer views, less pay etc) This is my job, and I'm terribly sorry that you can't sit through three minutes to watch content that I put out for FREE

Tripwire is being actively maintained again? It was abandoned for a long time. I now use Galaxy Finder and I am much happier with GF than I ever was with tripwire.

thank you for making this video. Multiboxing not killing eve as it dose take skills but is it worth it? boring as hell. i have semi new bros in my corp and if i get 10/10 or 6/10 i see if there wanna tag along we have a laugh on teamspeak, not always about making the most isk but making memory's and friends, and that to me is priceless. i my self do Multiboxing but i do it fund fun actively for my guys. or make up for something my corp missing. but if one of my corp mates are happy to fill the role i move the toon away and have it do something else.
pirate titans: very fancy to have, but rather pointless (since titans dont fight out of blobs where the pirate bonuses are meaningless). Rarely owned, even more rarely actually put to use (and even less so use that justifies their astronomical costs)
The Eve Gate is explored to some degree in the book ''The Empyrean Age'' by Tony Gonzales. As are many aspects of Eve lore. I highly recommend it if you're interested.
I'm still salty that c0v1d _ruined_ project discovery... exo-planet hunting was the BEST part of the game. If they brought that back, I'd be seriously tempted to go start playing again.

The real problem isn't the lack of security, it's the people who exploit it. Airport analogy: airport security used to be light... no pat downs, you could bring your family in, etc. Then _one_ attack happened, and now the security is incredible. Where is the response from the federation to the increase in ganking attacks? The height of any security is relative to the threat. The attacks on high-sec is exploitative and it serves the purpose of stunting the growth of the economy. It benefits the CCP, and wealthy players at the expensive of hard working low-level players. The price of capital ships is not affected by people over-mining plagioclase. That kind of over-mining only lowers prices of daily goods, bought up by the little guy. Can't have that, says the wealthy ganker.

I've been a miner industrialist for over 10 years, and I've seen people make more than I ever have in a number of days just by doing wormholes. Meanwhile, people are still telling me that leaving miners alone in high-sec will cause inflation and ruin the game. Just parrots parroting, and CCP artificially suppressing the economy so they don't have to actually develop content.
Anecdotal evidence. The risk in wormholes is much greater so fewer folks actually DO that content compared to Hisec content. We know this, CCP have shared the figures. Make it 100% safe and you find more folks are drawn to it. Your argument here doesn't actually go against anything I've said. Yes, people make more in wormholes, but they also lose more.

should you update this video, you might want to put in some other stuff. if you travel to a low sec area and then jump through a WH in a WH, making sure it goes nowhere, there will never be anyone. there are also usually a ton of data/relic sites, i usually will find at least 2 per system, but have gotten like 4 worth a shot, just keep checking local chat to make sure no one is there

The time gates in games are not there to save people from themselves. They are there to incentivise people to buy the premium corrency, or be forced to grind for many hours to get what you want.
The time gates existed before the premium currency AND long before Skill Injectors. I therefore have to disagree.

5 months later but eh, HEAVY warp disruptors/scrams have higher than normal strength. They are battleship modules.
45 million-ish is the opening price for the Squall - I know that will settle down big-time but still looks like there will be a price point for my Badgers. 50 million makes for a sexier kill-mail even when empty and causes enough pain to encroaching newer PI players that they might set up shop somewhere but your neighborhood if they lose a few.
Just redeemed the week of free omega, what a great time to play again. MMOs feel so dead in general.

I agree that high sec should not be fully safe, but the griefers really need to go, hitting people just to do it is wrong.
I'm not even a PvP player (as in, I don't go out hunting but I do sometimes do Faction Warfare) and I know being killed can be frustrating (in different degrees depending on the scenario) but that's my point, it's a vital part of the game. Griefing too. Merchant vessels weren't exactly happy with pirates, but that's a part of the EVE experience.

Exactly. It doesn't harm anyone and I'd argue it's actually beneficial.
Ishtar can do many things. Low lvl WH alone, High lvl WH in fleet. Solo HIsec missions, Solo all Null anomalies. Even Solo or Duo escalations (depends on faction). The key is to minmax a fit and be careful about npcs that may turn against your drones (just use some civilian gun to hit someone from group of npcs to get aggro first on ship) For most of the fits no prop or ab 10 is enough, but some of them will require ab100 to kite and survive
I have spent weeks with multiple fits in C3 J-Space and it seems to be the one form of PvP the Ishtar utterly sucks at.
Quick note, make sure you do not have horribly negative standings with Gallente. The missions take you into Gallente space, and as I quickly learned while doing a mission, it does not take very long for the Gallente Navy to blast the shit out of your destroyer. And oh yes, they will find you, lol.
Same for any of the four empires. You visit them all 😂

We didn't get chance to chat. And we weren't on grid with 1. We didn't catch anyone. We were caught at a gate before we got chance to. We weren't looking for 12v1, we were looking for a fight. What we got was literally 10v1, with them fielding more CAPITALS and Marauders than our fleet.
man i always wanted deep space transport fleet hangar to be able to hold the bigger structures in its cargo hold. Now ccp is bringing out new haulers :D
Ahoy Captain! o7 I’m a returning pilot EVE and this past weekend I got myself a little Heron setup for exploration and went into my first few wormholes. First time in I didn’t find much besides NPC’s and more wormholes. My second WH I found a data site and got away with 24mil. I did one more before calling it a night and found a relic site with nearly 100mil ISK in loot. My heart was racing until I got over to Jita, it was the most exciting thing I’ve done in game in a long time. Thank you for all your guides and videos, I wouldn’t have had the guts to even try WH’s without you.
