I will say growing up as a hunter, fisherman, backpacker, camper I am not afraid of the outdoors. But I can tell you this in my many years spent in the woods, mountains and backcountry, I have seen and heard some unexplainable shit that I still can’t wrap my head around. I am not a person to immediately jump to conclusions on what I saw or heard and there have been a handful of instances in my time where I truly cannot explain to you what it was with rational human understanding of the world around us

Yes!!! That’s what got me believing in the possibility. I refuse to believe EVERY SINGLE PERSON IS LYING! And the more we learn about the earth and evolution, I don’t think it’s far fetched at all actually anymore. I’ve seen things I can’t explain. And I wasn’t alone either, if I was- I would question it naturally. But I wasn’t, and we saw the same exact thing. It still doesn’t make sense to me even. I know there is a lot out there we don’t know about.

Joe you absolutely NEED to get Colm Kelleher on your podcast. He is a legit scientist who spent years researching on Skinwalker Ranch. He started his career in mainstream microbiology research, but was hired by Robert Bigelow in the 90s under his National Institute for Discovery Science program. He has unbelievable information on hard science as well as personal anecdotes of bizarre anomalous phenomena that occured on this ranch and other areas. Him and Robert Bigelow both witnessed some type of unexplainable cryptid. One of the main focuses of what they were there to study were thousands of unexplainable cattle mutilations. One instance, the farmers had tagged a calf and were standing no more than 300 yards away after they tagged it. 45 minutes later, their dog started acting strange and alerted them to the area. All the blood was drained and it was missing organs, appearing that surgical tools were used.

Many of the security personnel that watched over the ranch for Bigelow confessed to making up lots of stories. Even made it a point to come up with the most outlandish things possible to appease Bigelow as he was known to be a difficult person. Also, he was PAYING them and they needed a job so why wouldn't they lie for as long as they could? If I'm correct, Bigelow didn't really see much himself, a majority was secondhand info.

I don't fit any of the stereotypes Joe mentioned: I'm an educated female who never once considered “big foot” as anything other than folklore. About 25 years ago, my friend and I were road tripping in Montana, near Glacier Park. We got off the main road to explore up a two-track. We drove across the river on a little one-lane bridge. While crossing the bridge, we looked down toward the water and walking onto the shore was a very large, very head-to-toe furry, tall gorilla looking.....thing. It looked up at us as we looked at it.. We both fell absolutely silent as we kept driving. After a few minutes of not talking, one of us spoke first, then we were excitedly talking over each other: "OMG!! WTF was THAT." Our brains immediately tried to override what we saw -Ummmm.....it was a fly fisherman, he was naked, he just happened to be super hairy....etc... It wasn’t until a few weeks later that we shared the story with someone, admitting what we thought it actually was. Funny thing, the stance it had was the cliche one you see in pics: mid-walk, looking toward us. Edit: this was in the summer, full daylight. Sunny, beautiful day.

I saw one when I was a kid off the hwy between Mackenzie and Prince George, British Columbia. It was running from the clearing into the woods. It looked like an elongated person, with longer arms and legs, patchy red hair all over and ran with a straight back, as opposed to leaning forward. There were no people around the area, just wilderness. I know what I saw. I screamed out 'sasquatch' - no one else in the van had seen it but my dad did slow the van down and asked me where I'd seen it. He was an avid hunter and he told me years later that he'd seen unusual footprints that spooked him enough to move camp years before my sighting. I've only recently started to disclose this to people because of the stigma and don't have any interest in the topic otherwise. I just know what I saw, as clear as day. I feel a little bad for people questioning and wanting them to be real because I wish I could show them what I saw.

As insane as it sounds, I have began leaning more towards this concept of what we know as Bigfoot to actually be an interdimensional hominid. I say this because there have been instances of people walking in the woods just for the world around them to become gray and decrepit, and they described seeing a hairy hominid hand reaching over their shoulder as they stepped back in shock just for the world to go back to normal and in front of them they see a shimmering ripple like heat off the asphalt. Another instance was a group of cross country runners on the trails losing sight of their friend just to come up on him naked, his clothes folded neatly on a log nearby, walking into the woods. They yell for him and he breaks out of whatever trance he was in. He had said all he remembered was that he heard a growl and that it felt “calming.” That one scared the shit out of me .

Many coastal salish tribes believe in multi dimensions. They call it a changing of worlds. Because there is no death. Mind you, this is just traditional teachings. We tuck them away as a bit of Native wisdom and not necessarily that it's true. Now we also...taught stories as warnings for our kids and other reasons. The woods are a dangerous place to be. It's the classic child boogeyman stories to keep kids in bed or inside for their safety.

I caught a glimpse ahead but when I hit the spot I did not see anything. It was 4:30 am on my way to work. Next I looked into my review mirror and seen it dart across behind the logging truck behind me. Yes so they do have the ability to mutate kinda like the movie Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger. They are inter dimensional and come to this part of the earth for the vegetation. And childbirth. They nest then leave. why the sightings are seasonal remote and goes long spirts without any sightings then an influx of sightings. I’m beginning to believe a lot of truths in Star Wars movies our universe just gets more mysterious and mystical.

Soon as we look down the trail we both saw what looked like a wolf laying down maybe 50 feet away. We both saw it and hauled ass back down the trail. It didn’t chase us so after a few minutes we walked back to check it out. It was a log shaped identical to a wolf laying down, we didn’t even realize what we were looking at till we got maybe 10 feet away

My grandma told they are interdimensional travelers, a.k.a they travel to different worlds. Sedona is supposedly an “portal” access. Along with other spots in the world.

Yeah man, I’m also native. In Central America tho, a lot of things happen that we can’t explain. Imagine having your great granpa watch a tv. It would be like another dimension to him. There’s a phenomena that there is a fire ball that falls from the sky and floats around us in my dad’s village. A couple years ago I saw in JRE that there are round balls of lightning that form depending on atmospheric conditions, that can look like a ball of fires. There is videos of it. A complete enigma explained.

People come up with lots of things in their minds when they are scared. The primal part of the brain kicks in and the amygdala does it's thing. I also have family members and friends that claim to have personally seen or experienced something "supernatural", but once you start laying out the details, possible variables, etc. You realize that they were just confused and scared. You ever wondered why all sightings of these kinds of stuff are always by people who are already superstitious, but never by actual science groups trying to actually look at the evidence with a logical and critical mind?

@chltmdwp It depends on the story. I think it's beyond obvious that a bunch of the accounts will be mistaken bear sightings. I think it's fair to say ~75% of Bigfoot stories can be dismissed. But he's talking like every single story is a dark blur at night. I talked with an old native guy who thought he heard someone sneaking up on his horse corral and caught a Bigfoot with about 2,000 watts of flood lights 20ft away. You could tell the difference between a bear and an ape real easy if it's lit up like a Rolling Stones concert stage.

Joe always says that (his friends that are) hunters do not report bigfoot so it does not exist. Crazy thing is huge number of the sightings are by hunters and according to shows like Sasquatch Chronicles these sightings usually force these hunters quit hunting. They know the animals around them and I bet that they can spot the difference between bear on two feet and apelike creature. It is really weird phenomenon and there really must be something more behind this than walking bears.

And when I told authorities the forest service went and cleared the land and section I gave them gps for. I know because I went back 2 weeks later and it was cleared. They are real 100%. I know a logger who drives trucks and hit one. He told his boss, his boss said don’t tell anyone because it happened to a past driver and the authorities made life extremely difficult for the logging company.

All 4 of us saw him about 150 yards away, just walking nonchalantly up the hill. He was tall with reddish fur, he walked almost like a human, but faster and fiercer. It was absolutely clear that it is not human. We stopped talking about this encounter after our parents ridiculed us. But deep down I know what it was, I am sure my childhood friends do too. Could hear the things feet thumping the ground, branches were breaking then it suddenly stopped and started throwing big rocks onto the beach near where we were camping..The scariest part is that we never heard it leave as loud as it was coming at us we should’ve heard it tear back into the forest but didn’t even hear a peep..We were the only humans on the small island. The black bear were in hibernation still..The forest is so dense and thick that no human could hike through it without flashlights at night there’s no way it was a human..If you haven’t been to south east Alaska it’s the most thick dense forest you’ll ever see there’s so many unexplored areas bigfoot could exist somewhere out there..

The natives believe Sasquatch is a spirit being. Able to move back and forth between this world and the spirit world at will. They believe if you see him it’s because he wants you to see him. Normally as a warning of bad spirits in your midst. So if you see Sasquatch you’ve got bigger things to worry about than him.I’ve also heard or read somewhere that we are evolutionary siblings, just that as we evolved closer and closer to technology, they went the opposite way. We can’t survive in the wild. They thrive in it.I’ve also read about the theories of different dimensions and realities.I kind of feel like the truth is somewhere in between all these theories.

Giants lived among them. Thunderbirds. They saw things and my theory is the modern day man is so used to the world we’ve shaped for ourselves that we quite literally just don’t want to see what was normal at one time as normal. They were believed to be a myth because the only encounters that we could possibly have were with the ones washed up on beaches, which is very rare, as they live in depths over 300 meters in remote parts of the oceans. Even today, we don't really know much about them. They live in an environment totally alien to us that we have only relatively recently started to explore and yet we have clear and undisputed evidence of their existence, unlike big foots where the only "real" evidence that we have are eye witnesses. So it seems to me that it is highly unlikely that such a creature could exist.

What gets me is the sheer number of witnesses who report seeing Sasquatch, it’s absolutely staggering. No other cryptid even comes close to the amount of sightings Big Foot gets. No one comes forward with sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, or the Jersey Devil nor do people have footage of them. But they do with big foot. There’s tons of footage of Sasquatch, albeit not in high definition, but it’s out there. Plenty of trail cams have caught them, there’s a livestream of Yellowstone that’s got footage of a family of them trekking through the snow, and not to mention all the tracks that people find. I live in Northern California, I worked on a lot of weed farms up here. I’ve met tons of people who claim to have seen Big Foot. There are some communities where it’s not even a question if they exist, locals *know* they exist. Sightings are so common that it’s generally accepted that they are real. I’ve never seen one myself and I’m not 100% convinced they’re real, but if any cryptid is real then it’s Big Foot.

It's easy to dismiss something that you have never encountered. I once saw something, and had an encounter in a remote area, that I can't fully make good sense of. I'm still not really sure of what I saw that mid-summer day, but I did see a tall lanky guy (I think) run away and across that county road in two strides, then go busting through brush and thick brambles like a wild animal. Jumping up and just running like hell. There was no reason for anyone local to act like that. I was no threat to anyone, and most folks I see out in the county just wave at me and smile. I was alone then, and every time I go there I think about it because it just seemed so odd to me.

I never said I saw a bigfoot. I simply shared an experience. I also never stated that I was a bigfoot believer, so your response is rather presumptuous, and somewhat immature.@@Makabert.Abylon

That's true. Yet there are no bears in that part of the country. This guy was not walking, he was running with long strides, and jumping over obstacles like a gazelle. @@mikermillersd
