Fair play to Ray Parlour for fronting up after the game. He’s a talented manager and all round good lad.

i want all the sexists in these comment sections to acknowledge the fact that female football in England was banned for 50 YEARS! it was banned because they were attracting bigger crowds than the men, and they had already reached similar levels technically despite female football having been around for a shorter amount of time. The FA never formally apologised for this ban, "the game of football is quite unsuitable for females and ought not to be encouraged". One female match attracted 53,000 fans, in today's terms (with regards to population changes) that would be about 81000 people 1 and a half times Anfield stadium (or nominally Anfield's capacity). Stop insulting women for something they cannot physically control (being less fast, and less strong) and appreciate the struggles the female game has gone through because we live in a patriarchy and men have the ultimate say.

I can appreciate that it is terrible quality, they get beaten by under 15 boys teams regularly. Only the parents of the boys playing go to watch U15 football. Reality is sometimes cruel, but it's the truth.
