@@oniplus4545 An example of Disney failing with a female protagonist and picking a poor character (character as in person) to play her because it’s focused on something the company doesn’t actually care about, they only pretend to care in their sort of attempt to cater to certain audiences. They did this with Star Wars, although Daisy - who played Rey - is actually a decent person from what we know, but their failure with Rey was due to the fact that she was promoted by Kathleen Kennedy, who’s actually a misandrist who masquerades as an activist, the kind of person some people mistake as a feminist due to the line those like Kennedy have blurred inadvertently or otherwise.

Agreed. Seeing him literally slap things together to try to solve a problem 6583474 moves ahead of everyone else was awesome. It also made the MCU feel real because we see real things being made. Once he got to nano-tech it all felt boring and lazy, even though it was something we all knew he would get to. It also looked bad and obviously CGI. His mechanical suits felt real because we got to see the movie parts when he suited up. Especially with all the sliding and "clunk" sounds of it coming together.

The mindstone looks to be magical but enlarged and studied via modern science it is closer to that of a really really big brain compressed into a stone. It required someone like Shuri who has had years of research in artificial bioscience to figure a way to work around vision which for them is thanks to having the heartshaped herb for study over the centuries because it came from space. If the US didn't weaponize Vibranium into a shield they could've had indestructible tanks or suits. Tony managed to perfect his father's studies from Project Pegasus as shown on the crate.

Lasers are weird about what materials they can cut. Especially metal. It's not just power. There's different types of lasers, different colors/wavelengths. You can cut stainless steel with a typical blue diode laser but then copper and brass are crapshoots and probably need infrared. Aluminum is so reflective it can bounce back and damage the lens depending on the distance and focus. A lot has to do with conductivity and thermal properties. Better conductors are harder to laser cut because they bleed the heat away so fast you can't get the focal point hot enough to vaporize.

Good old times when technology actually mattered and you had to work hard to obtain anything. Now everybody can simply learn how to do magic if Doctor Strange just gives him a book or two. Anybody can just put on an iron man suit if Potts gives him one. Anybody can become Thor if Thor just says he borrows them his power. There really is no reason why street heroes would be a thing any more. Everything in the MCU is overpowered and has to be dumbed down and nerfed for anything to have stakes.

Agreed, Disney threw all character building for this bullshit allegory of "everyone's powerful already, deal with it" Having that be the norm sucks all of the struggle, strife and learning from failures that makes characters have some depth. There's no reason to worry about these new age "heroes" as they don't fail at anything and come out of the gate with success. They are throwing the MCU down the drain, one boring, arrogant, overpowered character after another. Basically Spider-man is all we've got left after the Guardians have stopped being a series after this latest one.

Yes, but the execution is so bad, I still see the frist and second movie, I actually try to see the 3rd movie and just couldn't, the 3rd movie have nothing good. The movie call The Room is so bad that it is good, Iron Man 3 is just bad.

Vibranium Notes. In the Iron Man 2 novelization, the new element created by Tony Stark to replace Palladium in the arc reactor is called Vibranium. This information would later be invalidated by Captain America: The First Avenger, where Vibranium is shown as a rare metal already existing in the 1940s.
