At 3:14 when Killian breaks the arc reactor it disabled the suit's motor functions, that's why in future Iron Man suits we see little arc reactors all over his suit just so if someone goes for the reactor he wouldn't be paralyzed like that because Tony learns from his mistakes.

I love how Heartbreaker came to assist Rhodey in getting his suit back and saving the president. I also love that the armor with the jackhammers came to save him. Why did these machines have to die

Silver Centurion, my favorite Iron Man suit since I was a child finally shows up in the third movie and gets less than 2 minutes of screen time. Awesome.

You know what bugs me when the president is being held hostage in the iron patriot suit the suit is completely useless but when Rodney puts it on it somehow works completely fine

Maybe is because Rhodey knows how to use it, remember that Pepper use it and is not that easy, she want it to use the pulse to fire but instead she fly.

I mean obviously the president has no idea how to operate it. Plus he was too afraid dangling, I would be too honestly one mistake and down he goes. He doesn't know how to fly. And yes Jarvis can't control that Armor cause ist AI is different

Moreso that in this film they appear weaker because Tony is just building these things ASAP to cope with PTSD, not really focusing on quality. Remember even the Mark 5, a thinner/lighter suit with minimal weapons and may/may not be able to fly was still able to withstand Whiplash's whips even when they fully engulfed them despite previously cutting clean through race cars and still was functional after. Plus some of these suits are specialized for purposes not related to combat vs the previous general purpose models(hazmat, stealth, S&R, etc) Of course not to say they couldn't be made more durable if Tony actually focused on quality over quantity.

I liked the entrance of the suits but this movie did War Machine dirty. Might as well never to include him in the movie. I don't really expect much from a Shane Black.

Loved the fact that the Silver Centurion armor was the first suit Tony stepped into in this battle (For those unaware, seriously, that's the Silver Centurion armor), because it's honestly my favorite. Hated the fact that it didn't get more hits in, but at least it managed to disarm Killian with one last hit. And yes, pun intended

I like how the iron man hits the floor and the two goes up and the other suit shoots them

He realized that the iron legion is weak and dependent in this movie and in age of ultron. And waiting for the suit to come to him is highly unreliable, that's why he used nanotech so he has the suit with him at all times.
