I love Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickenson's voice is unmistakable, and love this band. The primary songwriter is the bassist Steve Harris, he is a legend, and he called Tuomas Holopainen, a F**king Genius. I love me some Maiden and Nightwish.

Great reaction. There are bands that are just better live than in studio, they seem to feed off the audience and take their performance to a higher level, putting their entire souls into the music. Maiden, Sabaton, Nightwish, Blind Guardian are bands that explode in front of a crowd and still produce exceptional music. Sadly, too many bands rely on tech gimmicks that cannot be successfully replicated live or feel that their live shows don't matter. Thanks for sharing this. Stay safe, keep rocking.

I am not even the biggest Maiden fan, more like something I listen to from time to time, but even I gotta admit that their Rock in Rio concert is one of the best concerts that have ever been recorded. The sheer scale of it is just absolutely insane.

I saw them on this tour on México City! 2001. With Rob Halford and Queensryche.... in one night 3 of the best metal singers on the stage: Bruce Dickinson, Geoff Tate...and Rob Halford!

Great 'reaction' on the very last song of a looong concert. Maiden delivers. Out of this world.

Yeah there were 250 thousands in the crowd in a 2 hours performance in january 2001. For me the most impressive thing was the crowd singing along. I am brazilian...in Brazil english is speaking by less than 1% of population, and in every music the public sang along...amazing.

Great reaction, your wife said it, it´s about the experience of discovering this amazing music together. I saw them live last Sep22 in Mexico and the performance, the production, the interaction with the crowd was beyond description. been on 1st August on Nightwish concert in Bucharest - Romexpo - was incredible - the band was on point and Floor just perfect! - I'm old and don't go so often to concerts anymore - but some bands deserve to been seen live - to feel that energy and to fill your soul with good vibes.... :)

I stopped listening to studio versions a lang time ago. Great bands can’t only play live but are even better live ! So lesson learned? 😉 Do yourselves a great favor, check concerts in your surroundings and go !! I don’t consider myself a Maiden fan, but when working it’s my most used playlist and yes of course only live versions. It gives me energy and makes me happy !! As D mentioned live music gives the (extra) feeling, the experience is IMHO never matched by a studio version. So go and see a concert and be really amazed 🎸🤘🎸
