I drive for a living and I always have my Iron Maiden playlist in the truck, quiet in the early hours of the morning but soon as I can the volume goes all the way up. Their music is life and I am proud to have every album and track they have released. Eagerly awaiting the new album in the fall.

One of the best metal albums EVER! Great choice!

Agreed!I don't think there is a bad track on the album.I was so lucky to see them back in 85 when they toured this.For me,they were at the peak of their powers back then although I've seen them many times since and they remain one of my favourite bands.

Back in the Village is an intense song about combat flashbacks. Poor man is in his kitchen but he's back in the village, back in the village, back in the village agian! Over and over.

The breakdown on Powerslave and guitar solos are the best of their era it cannot be touched ....🥰

Such a great instrumental parts. The guitar work of Adrian & Dave is a blessing for music fans.

I can't believe you haven't heard this before... I ate this for breakfast :) Absolutely amazing song, everything is off-the-charts-awesome! Bruce's voice never sounded better, the egyptian vibe, galloping rhytm, crunchy guitar and bass, blistering solos... you name it.

Probably my favorite solos of all time. It sounds sooooo good!

I see Rich appreciating Steve Harris. This makes me happy. So many bass players are underrated, Steve is simply the best.

The Powerslave tour was the first concert I ever went to that I paid for my own ticket. December of ‘84 at the Mecca Arena in Milwaukee. Still one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. As the years have gone by this is the one song by Maiden that just gets better and better with age. Great channel guys! I love your enthusiasm!

I also saw them on the Powerslave tour with W,A,S,P, & Fastway as openers in March of '85 here in Dallas ,still to this day it's what I compare all others shows to . The HIGH bar that was set that night has yet to be duplicated or surpassed... UP THE IRONS !!!

I've seen Maiden many times over the years with Dianno, Bayley and Dickinson. Wasn't a big Blaze Bayley fan but they still rocked hard. My favorite concert was with Dianno as singer simply because I was 16yrs old and he connected with the crowd so well it blew me away. Love your channel I'm a recent sub keep up the good work

Dude- You MUST listen to the entire Powerslave album. That album is a musical journey that needs to be heard from start to finish in its entirity.

I saw Iron Maiden on this past tour in Pittsburgh. Never fails, their shows are always epic. Even better, this was basically a greatest hits show. You guys picked a great tour to see them. Keep doing what you do, love you guys. Up the Irons!!! 🤟😎

And some of us (especially in the UK) saw most of this stuff live ( Bruce is brilliant but Mr Di Anno helped get the ball rolling, so check the first two albums too) and it made us fall in love with r n f n r and it’s great to see you guys get it. We’re all a big global rock family 🎸🥁🤘😀

I love the lead into the solo section and the way it gets back to the main melody.

IRON MAIDEN has been my favorite band since 82,,,and i love your reason for liking them are similar to mine,,you explain it way better than i do,,ive been lucky enough to see them 5 times,,and everytime better than the last

Winston would love playing with my two Yorkshire terriers. They are so much fun at this age. So amusing and the love they show us humans is amazing.

From all the great stuff Maiden has done over the years, this song contains my favourite guitar solos.

Powerslave is the album that got me into metal. It remains my favorite Maiden album of them all. Losfer Words, Powerslave and Flash of the Blade were the first songs I learned on the guitar.

Powerslave is the ultimate Maiden song and album. The very best they've done. IMHO.

This album is the apex of music.

This was one of the first CDs I ever bought. They (CDs) were new at the time and I was looking for a good deal. I had never even heard of Iron Maiden before but loved the cover and the length of the disc. They quickly became one of my favorite bands. I can say that I definitely got my money worth with this purchase.

First album I ever bought, and first concert I took my youngest brother to a concert when he was 11. Up the Irons!

I was 3rd row center for this tour at met center, Bloomington Mn. I caught Steve Harris’ wrist band, but I miss placed it and could never find it again. I also saw them with Judas Priest 1982 number of the beast tour, and the piece of mind tour the next year. Where did time go???? Love your channel Kel and Rich! What happened to you guys? I hope all is well and take care……..

I used to puck apart Steve's bass lines and play them on my trumpet in band classes. Our band director was amazed that I could convert the bass to a treble cleft for the trumpet and play it on bass also

Powerslave is my favorite album from the first era with Bruce. A Matter of Life and Death is my favorite from the second.

Would love it if you guys did Aces High - also from the Powerslave album - in honor of Kel's new aviator hat. So cool!

The entire album is so freaking awesome, I tell you what though it is hard to have a favorite album from iron Maiden because they all so good. This album is considered by many to be their best. This is the song before ‘Rime...’ and is my fave off the album. Great record. As a side we used to soundcheck with ‘2 minutes to midnight’ (from this record) when I played in a sabbath tribute. The looks on the faces of the sound guys/venue staff and promoters when they thought they’d booked the wrong tribute act was priceless - EVERYTIME🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️🤘🎼
