🇮🇶More Iraq Videos: • American in Iraq! 🇮🇶 I...
To create this Iraq series, I teamed up with my guides at Bil Weekend ( / bilweekend | bilweekend.com/) and my good friend and fellow travel filmmaker Tasos Karantakos ( / agreeksolo .
After arriving in the city of Mosul, Tasos, my guides from Bil Weekend, and I set out to explore Bab Al-Jadeed, an amazing local market, for its street food scene!
PACHE: At our first stop, we grabbed some pache, or sheep innards. We got a bowl of sheep tongue, intestines, meat, fat, and more on top of bread with some broth. I loved the rich, iron flavor of the organs and the fat, especially when I added my David’s Been Here hot sauce. It was one of my favorite dishes of the trip so far!
KEBABS: Next, we enjoyed some incredible lamb kebabs, as well and kidney, liver, and fat tikka with fresh and pickled fruits and vegetables. The charred fat blew me away, as did the kidney and liver. The pickled apple was very nice, and the zabib (raisin juice) was sweet and refreshing!
MOSULI KNAFEH: A friendly vendor fed me some Mosuli knafeh, which was crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and doused in sugar syrup!
LAHM BI AJEEN: One of my favorite dishes in both Lebanon and Turkey are their versions of this dish, which is essentially a lamb pizza. The crispy dough reminded me of focaccia bread, while the lamb was tender, savory, and a little sweet. Adding dibis (date syrup) took it to another level!

You should make a video on the similarities dishes in all the countries you have visited...like giving your insights and your thought on the type of food served in this country or that country and what do you find interesting..

I dont understand why some consider eating stuffed intestines something crazy. Most sausages all over the world have animal intestines as a casing.🌭🌭

Tasos is funny “ I love my life” 😂😂 Street Food In Mosul looks exotic. I Love the sheep head. I have had it before; very succulent, and the intestines remind me of pudding. My parents would curry the Sheep intestines. Enjoyable video. I can tell you guys had a blast.

Pache is leg and Kale is head, usually they call all together Kale-Pache. In Armenian language this is Khash..
