Great content as always. For those wondering why the CSG took no action against the drone; it was outside of threat range (look at zoom levels), and also the drone (as well as Iran) is inconsequential. The CSG wouldn't care if it was a fighter aircraft dangling a dozen ship killers. Despite the opinions of the USA hating, Military hating main stream media, Iran is nothing more than a minor annoyance to us militarily. Even if their equipment wasn't outdated by several decades, they'd still be grossly incompetent compared to the U.S. Military. CNN is more of a threat to our military than Iran.

That was actually the US NAV spying on an Iranian drones.

Doubt it. Drones are very hard to track due to size. The US will claim they knew, but time will tell if they prove otherwise

The honest truth is none of us know for sure, even with best technology and best operators, mistakes/complacency happen. That said, commenters have listed many reasons why the U.S. would let the drone fly - one reason I haven't seen but I believe is legit is the risk/benefit ratio is off. If they knew the drone was unarmed, there is very little it can do considering any intel it is gathering is likely already open source or known to Iran. On the contrary, shooting it down could mean unnecessary escalation (although I think the likelihood of it spiraling out of control is minimal, if anything letting it fly will bolden Iran)

I'm sure America know very well that the Drone is watching them just like they are watching it that area is such a narrow Crossing more than likely it's far away on either side of the coast Overland in the airspace of whatever country they're over plus it's just observing there's really nothing they can do unless it becomes a hazard or dangerous intent
