They don't put the night mode on the SE because it's gonna be overkill for their much more expensive iPhones. It's just simply marketing strategy.

The SE is an overachiever for sure. I didn’t really watch any reviews before ordering one. I was kind of blown away at how much better the pictures were when side by side with my 8. Low light is vast improvement.

The iphone se pictures look more vivid. During the daytime, the iphone 11 images look more washed out. Even though the downside to the se is the no night night mode, I think a little editing could fix the nighttime photos. I personally think the iphone se (daytime) selfies look better, the colors look more natural.

For me, night mode is actually not a big deal cuz in some third party apps you can use a filter which adds brightness to a photo; that is actually called night mode filter.

I prefer SE's camera rather than 11, but I can't live with those big ass bezels lol. Honestly thank you for including a lot of human shots in various lighting and location, a lot of reviewers kind of take one/two photos of human subjects and call it a day lol. Def one of my fav youtube tech reviewer.

Bought an iPhone 11 recently just for the camera thinking it might be a bump up, but in reality I prefer the SE. Images from the 11 look a little over-processed, definitely a touch cooler and not as saturated as the ones from the SE. Truthfully unless you need the ultra-wide lens of the 11 the SE was the winner based on image quality in my shoot-off.

Really appreciate this! Camera quality is a big factor in my decision. It seems like you’re saving $300+ by not getting night mode, bigger screen and a little more battery life... tough call but I might be going with the SE.

The big difference has to be the extra features you get with the 11, cause the camera itself is pretty top quality on both phones.

Awesome comparison, i noticed few things.. the shots from iphone se looks tiny bit of streched(guess u have captured from same distance) in 80% of shots making it feel a bit incomplete of the scene. The 11 shots have just amazing dynamic range nd details, they looked more complete of a scene and some looked like a DSLR. Btw bro u r handsome too.

5:46 the blur on the 11 isn’t a mistake,its just an aperture difference.it can be adjusted in the photo edit mode.

Neuralcam do the night vision even in the 1st iPhone SE

the extra camera and the front depth sensing camera do not seem to help its edge detection at all

What i have found when using the 11 after the SE 2020, is the performance is a little bit worse. The SE doesn't overheat when playing games, the 11 does after about 30 minutes. Then the 11 lags and games like pubg aren't really playable at around 10 fps. I have and iPhone 6s Plus, 7 Plus, 8, 11, SE 2020, and the 13 but this issue only appeared on the 11s.

Will it hurt to not having a wide angel camera?

Great job on the video what I really wanted was a small phone That took good pictures and you’re right the biggest bummer about the SE is the no night mode but I downloaded an app called neural camera and I have night mode on it now for $2.99

At first didnt notice any significant difference im the pictures and vid And i not sure what ur skin tone is in person. But for clarity tones the SE camera outdoes the 11 by far now that ive noticed i cannot unnotice it. If. Not completely im dark the se does really need the se. the clarity os really good for mode. I mever cared before im i really want to take good star and moon pics.

Really great video with lots of comparisons and random I never say this ever but the music played toward the end half of the video was kinda nice lol kinda reminds me a little of From time by Drake.

I have the SE and when i take a pic it looks kinda weird or blurry at first but if i pinch to zoom on the pic like just a little bit it becomes a lot more clearer and its kinda annoying, i wanna see the full quality. is there a way to fix this?

On the iPhone SE and older models, the percentage is next to the battery icon, so you can see how much percent is left in the battery. With my iPhone 11, there is no percentage next to the battery icon, which is a pity.

I have the Samsung A71 and my camera is terrible and it's really hard to take good pictures without needing to use a filter, with both front and back camera, I am now thinking of getting a different phone because a good camera is super important to me

Here’s what you are wrong: the SE does shoot 1080p 240fps slow motion and 4K 60fps in high efficiency mode. This is clearly labeled in the “Formats” section of the camera setting.

I was like : I need to check his insta, i bet he takes ALOT of good looking selfie... And he had none. Not a single picture of his beautiful face 😭

SE 2020 but tbh the first gen SE can still get iOS 13 so it still holds up 5 years later. Not sure about iOS 14 though.
