You didn’t mention that the iPhone SE has the same image signal processor as the iPhone 11 so while it has the same hardware as the iPhone 8, the photos are much better

I have compared the screen on time to a Samsung a51 and got nearly the same screen on time. The Samsung went 36 minutes longer before dying. There's a big difference between Android battery efficiency and Apple's.

@Peter J The battery isn't that bad! It has got the worst ranking of any 2019/2020 phone out there. I haven't conducted the tests, professionals did. Check GSMarena if you don't believe me. The only way to save the battery on the SE2 is to put it on plane mode. But remember, this is supposed to be a phone.

I ordered the se 2020 with 128GB from Apple on may 9 with expected delivery may 21-26. Excited, since my current phone is an LG flip phone, which cost me $29 in 2011. Woo hoo.

It's for the group of people who won't mind Apple ripping them off left right and center. It's no good for kids to play - garbage battery. No good for the elderly - tiny screen with low resolution.

At this price point, this cannot be beaten. It has all the bells and whistles of a flagship, well almost, and is kinda king of some things rather than Jack of Nonsensical stuffs. Nokia 9 Pureview got me interested in the channel and I sub'd. This and a few other in watch list now :) Liked the natural photos of SE 2020.

iphone 12 wont have home button, and will have ugly notch. Just as smaller iphone 11 basically with 5g and oled

David - Another excellent video. I bought the 128 Gb black version, my first time using iOS. Great value and software support wrapped in a UI that is shockingly bad, but I spent enough time organizing my apps to make it useable. IDK if this will be a long-term relationship - but apps open quickly and the camera is more than adequate for someone (like me) who grabs the occasion photo.

LOL I was shocked also about IOS's UI, coming from years of using Samsung/Android. People were always telling me how IOS is better than Android, for years. Last year I bought the Iphone XR as my first IOS device and was just as shocked as you were about how awful the UI was. It felt fragmented and archaic, compared to Samsung's software and features. Plus, the XR didn't have touch ID and you had to swipe and do gestures to do everything. I returned the phone within 24hrs. But, I just bought the new SE, because of the camera, touch ID, longer OS updates, compared to Android, as well as the best price and value. The touch ID/Home button has made the software and UI a lot better, but what I have learned is to give the OS a chance, because I'm always finding and learning new things and ways to use it that makes it very fluid. There are a lot of shortcuts and haptic touch menu options that, if you learn, will make for a smoother experience and possibly more fluid experience than Android. It's a huge learning curve, coming from Android, because it's a different way of doing things. I think I will stick with IOS and like you I had to rearrange and organize the apps to make it usable. But, the camera alone is worth it over Samsung any day. I could never get accurate pics from my Samsung phone. They were always over saturated and even when I the beauty effect feature off, it made me look like a different person. The Iphone Se's camera is wonderful. I love it.

@@Boi-st5px You clearly haven't used any Pixel it seems. Pixel is so much better than iPhones since you opted for a single camera. iPhone 11 series have wide angle though.

Sanam Subedi - It's a bit hard to judge since we are on lock down, but somewhere around 4 - 4.5 hours of SOT with web browsing, email, KZread and 20% remaining after 16 hours of use. (No gaming, using WiFi.) So I'd say okay, but not great.

@@fuzz33594 if you are on wifi then thats pretty bad, cause on lte thats gonna take like 1 hour out of it easy... I was really looking foward to this phone but the battery reports have completely turned me off... Might as well wait to see what they bring next Agree on the pixel comments up there... That camera is a+ and the 3a or the upcoming 4a it gonna perform flawless... I have a pixel 4 ams even tho battery isnt killer, its a great phone overall and last me all day easy

iOS UI is technically the most efficient. Having apps in pages as opposed to an app drawer saves you time. There's logic to what Apple does. IOS may not be was customizable but it's certainly more sensible and efficient.

at 399 i can stomach 64gb, at 699 i need to spend 50 to get 128 plus tax its pretty much 800 bucks, plus AT&T gave half off offer price on pre-orders so i couldn't say no

Make another video with iPhone se 2020 and take the selfies at home from your room because nowadays we are spending our most time at home so that's why I want to see the iPhone se 2020 camera result from the room.

Pixel photos look the best. And se wirst but the s20 isn't impressive either with the picture. Not good for a over 1000 dollar phone.

Apple always does well with camera and microphone. So there's no disputing that. Apple's Achilles heel has always been it's battery life. The iPhone 8's battery has never been great and Apple has used the same internals and given it the A13 and still doesn't have a great battery life. Such a shame. A wasted opportunity.

Yes battery life on this se maybe suspect but not everyone iphone has had bad battery life. The entire 11 lineups battery is very good! So I don't think battery has always been Apple's Achilles heel

Unfortunately they market too much to kids by way of "slim, sleek" phones. In the real world people want battery life. Making a "compact" phone like the SE2 , ( as well as 7 and X) thicker for a bigger battery would not make it difficult to hold. I guess we have to wait for next gen battery tech (graphine?) Unless apple becomes more practical

It's not underclocked, like all A series chips it won't reach Max clock speed unless taxed, which very few apps can actually do. Benchmarks have and always will be notoriously questionable.

No one would buy se if the price is not that low!

Stop doing battery tests without a SIM card in the phone... No-one will use this device without it..

It is just a big boy leftovers in comparison to Chinese android offerings If you only have to buy an iPhone and you live in the USA only then you should buy this one otherwise look somewhere else. In India there are plenty of better options in androids paradise
