Samsung still shoots not bad, but vivo did a good job. It's time for Samsung to catch up. Photos on Samsung are less saturated and dark.I think if you tighten the saturation of the night mode and the video in poor lighting, it will be good. vivo was pleasantly surprised

I'd say Vivo defined the meaning of NIGHTOGRAPHY. Kudos to VIVO!

Huawei had started it, Vivo took it to the next level

That night video was amazing on the Vivo it looked better than both the Samsung and iPhone even though they had 4K and Vivo only was 1080p

Vivo was really impressive! These night shots seem to be almost unparalleled! Zeiss partnership is really paying off. Hope they remove the yellowish tint in the updates and also I thought the moon shot looked too good to be true, kinda fake. Anyways, it was an impressive showing from Vivo, setting a benchmark in night photography in my opinion.

All good moon pictures from phones are helped by AI. That means the AI is "photoshoping" information from good quality pictures and patching your photo.

@@jorgeescudero5034 from what I observed, it seems Samsung is retaining most of the real-world details and enhancing them through AI. Vivo's technique is just not doing the same, it is going overboard with AI in my opinion. Looks like it pasted a hi-res photo of that side of the moon and called it a day, hence it looks a little bit out of place. If toned down a bit, it would look far better and natural.

Vivo did impressive. Ultra wide sharpe was so good and night video is awesome and also staplization is incredible dude best phone ever

Great comparison as always Danny. I'm a Samsung fan but I'm really impressed with Vivo's performace! HDR is awesome even I don't like the exposure and colour balance in most situations. Galaxy is maybe the more balanced but Vivo is pretty damn good at night shots.

Great vid as usual, Danny. Leaving a thumbs up. Daylight shots would be great as well, especially since most phones handle skin tones differently

Thanks to Danny and the family for a great comparison night test. The Vivo X80 held its own. As with any phone camera, it is down to personal preference.

I just want to tell you THANK YOU for doing a Night Test. Most phones take great pictures during the day, but the real test happens with movement at night. Your test was very thorough and helped me a lot. Again thank you, subscribed.

Vivo's 1080p video at night actually looks better than the 4K videos of the rest

yes, it's actually recommended to use 1080p (60fps if you want) for video for less noise etc

i have my s22ultra set on 1080p60 wish i could use super steady mode but that's only for 1080p30 :(

Only for night 😜 performance,we can't buy a phone , still I feel S22 Ultra is the best all-rounder.

Yes there are differences in some of the comparisons presented. A vast majority of them would be a matter of preference. The average individual would only be concerned about capturing the moment for posterity. Great video thank you.

Thanks to th the VIVO showing to the smartphone community that we can still improve the photos. Cinematic video looks damn good. Night Time shots with lights is the best in the industry.

Vivo X80 Pro is my favorite, taking picture in low light in another level compared to iPhone and Samsung.

I am quite curious about the daytime photo's as well. Especially since they have the Zeiss natural colour mode

I’m genuinely impressed by the Vivo!! Samsung especially need to be careful to improve their video quality. As an iPhone user unfortunately too many Apple fans would just buy the iPhone no matter what.

I have this phone.. absurdly good camera. I felt the daylight video wasn't exactly to my liking...but the best part is it has VIDEO PRO MODE. So you can adjust it !

Very impressive, didn't see them coming, but now samsung and apple have more competition. However as much as the vivo has much better brightness while maintaining realistic look. I prefer the detail as well as the mid colour tone on most shots from the samsung s22 ultra. Iphone still shoots some of best videos as always but I feel there behind in photos.

I'm more a daytime snapshooter, but the Vivo is mighty impressive in details, in night shots, in moon zooming, in sharp focus. Overall, without going into extensive details like a pro (you). Also the video stabilization on the Vivo is fantastic. The iPhone has the best sound. Number two for those night shots is the S22 Ultra over the iPhone 13 Pro, overall. Conclusion: From this set of shots the Vivo X80 Pro is the winner overall; impressive. Thank you for sharing. Oh, and right at the beginning from the selfies the Vivo at only 1080P is the super clear winner, over the other two at 4K. The Vivo front camera at 1080P is sharply focused and the very best.

Before watching it, I'm assuming they're all great. You can't go wrong with any of those. Magic Kingdom at night is really great for testing night mode (from experience as a Florida resident!)

Great job sir. I am Samsung fan but VIVIO was realy great at Night Mode and with noise reduction. Samsung was overal balanced image and excellent selffee camera and iphone was great in video quality.

Great review always appreciate your camera comparison.But,unfortunately in the US,we cannot use At&t on any vivo,realme and oppo after they shutdown 3g and blocking uncertified phones on their network.Tmobile is going to do the same end of May and Verizon in December.

I prefer the uniformity of the S22 ultra, it has more natural colour, although the Vivo gives more clarity in the photo

This video is so pleasing, makes me forget that i am watching it through a broken mi note 4

Vivo getting crazy amazing, the night mode are ugh omg so aestetik like indont need editing anymore, the moon and night panorama ❤️ Honestly, people rarely do it not because they don't like it but because smartphones haven't been able to take good proper photos in panoramic mode at night

S22 ultra is better at Night photography cos Vivo is too bright and sometimes make night looks like day…on the other side iPhone crashes the shadows too much so Samsung is the middle ground here… iPhone is Better in video ONLY when u crop in and intensionaly look for the noise…but if u watch the videos normally there’s not much of a difference… Apple needs to catch up to the competition with iPhone 14…maybe put higher megapixel camera on it or use 12 mp with a larger sensor🤷🏽‍♂️ For me (Personally) S22 ultra is better than the 2

I don’t agree with the just cropping in on the iPhone video. It’s just better all around in terms of detail and color. Its easy to see. The downside is the lens flaring.

@@dannywinget okay💪🏽 Yeah the lense flaring are Terrible at night on iPhones…but I still think Samsung is better in night photography,Vivo photos don’t look natural for me personally and iPhone photos u don’t see some things as it crashes shadows which defuse a per pose of “Night Mode”🤷🏽‍♂️

iPhone video is cleaner in every way compared to S22U. Watch MaxTech or Mrwhose the boss 13 pro side by side with S22U. Video quality looks smeary and lacks detail - I can’t call it close, there is so much that needs improving on Samsung video

I don't get the obsession of smartphone makers boosting the shadows into obvlion. Dark should be dark. Not black dark, the detail should be there but Vivo sometimes seems to balance out the entire scene instead of letting there be natural contrast

Vivo is really winning in night shots, the most intricate part of photography. Low light is always a challenge when taking photos.

We recently tried playing with the x80 pro underwater and it works well

On the "default mode" i want the most natural photo possible, but when i activate the night mode, i want the most amount of information possible

Vivo is finally killing it making it a benchmark of photography in mobile phone world.... Congrats to them competition is now on another level have to see and watch what's coming next???

The Vivo is very impressive with its processing, but sometime I prefer if it would go less aggressive. At 4:20 it does amazing at capturing the lights, but that does make them look a bit more like cardboard signs instead of bright lamps in the other two images.
