@@katiellama4807 I came from the OnePlus 7 Pro to the 11 Pro ... Took a few days to get used to it, but it's actually nice having the smaller/lighter form factor for a change ... If you consume a lot of media, I'd opt for the max, but just normal usage (text, email, web browsing, KZread, etc) it's kinda nice having it a bit smaller.

peach It’s the constant flickering of the OLED newer screens. Displays have over saturated colors. Mostly in lower lighting of the phone that causes eye strain and headaches. Unfortunately everything that is newer to our markets are not always better for us and I’m not seeing any option, not to get OLED screens in the future On these Newer Apple phones. 😐

Cheryl Lynn you can search up reduce white point in youtube or google. Ive read that people has less eye strain enabling that on settings also ive enabled it and the flicker would significantly fade with other colors eventually reducing to spot the flicker easily even with high brightness

I was seconds away from buying the Pro, and this flickering headache thing made me stop in my tracks. The first time I had read that. I have had so many problems with TVs and computers giving me a headache. I am going to look into this alot more. I would hate to spend the extra money and then be unhappy anyway.

Lol 😂🤣....just finally replaced my 5s for a 6s....had the 5s for 7 years. Picked up the 6s for $44. My 5s started to have issues and did not believe it would last until summer. So, I picked up the 6s while I save for the smaller iPhone 11 Pro later this summer. Not interested in the iPhone 12 pro....which will be coming out at the end of the year... both iPhone 12 Pro are larger phones, then smaller iPhone 11 Pro ( I have smallish hands).

Excellent review, thanks. Of all the reviews for theses phones, yours is the only one to discuss the flickering that the oled displays produce. Great and helpful info that anyone considering buying the 11 or 11 pro/ pro max should consider.

PS thanks for sharing that amazing wall paper. It reminds me of “jouvert” a Caribbean carnival street festival with bands where they throw paint, coloured powder, mud/clay, water, etc. the skies and streets resemble that array of bright colours in the early dawn of the morning with all the music and revellers it’s so euphoric. That’s my new wallpaper as carnival season is starting! 🎭

I recently upgraded from a 8 Plus to a 11 Pro (the 5.8 inch one). I got it over the normal 11 just for the OLED, telephoto lens and the 5.8 size which is perfect for me.

Very informative video. I couldn’t decide which one to get. I’ve decided on the iPhone 11 Pro because I really like the telephoto lens and the longer battery life. I enjoy taking nature pictures and with my iPhone 7, zooming just doesn’t do much. So with the zoom feature, hopefully I will be able to actually tell what kind of animal I’ve taken a picture of. Also, many times I’m away from home and end up entertaining myself with my phone and run out of battery and have no place to charge it. Having a little more battery life, would be great. Thanks for the video.

Love my 11. Sometimes I wish I got the pro, only for the colors and the smaller form factor, but other than that, 11 was the right choice for me.

Thanks for this comparison. I’m coming from a 6plus so I think I’ll go with the 11pro max for the size and well I waited this long for an upgrade I may as well treat myself to the latest as I’ll keep it a long while too.

It’s true the 11 is the best budget iPhone and the 11 pro and pro max are advanced but there are some phones that do some stuff better than the pro and pro max

Thanks for mentioning flickering in 11 pro, you just confirmed my decision to get the 11 😁 price is much better for me too

I bought the 11 Pro for the new XDR oled screen big step up from the older ones on X and XS even non HDR looks way better imo

When you showed the iPhone 11 pro flicker I’m like no. I need the iPhone 11, I’m photosensitive and it helps to know this stuff made my decision easier.
