Wish it was home base for me, too. Them wipers, just hit differently, that makes me think makes me want to come back every weekend! Just wishing it was at least an couple hours shorter drive. Haha I’ll be bringing my kayak down one of these weekends and chase them on one of the lakes soon.

Rivers are hit and miss now. If you have boat, hit up the lakes such as McBride. Lots of wipers there, just need boats. But if you fish rivers, they’ll still be in there. Find the dams and you’ll find the wipers.

Great day of fishing good job. I went barge fishing yesterday caught some but the water is still too high, another week or two and it should be good.

Yes, great day of fishing. Glad you got out. Yeah rivers are super high right now, oddly Iowa wasn’t high at all. Iowa could actually use more water! Good luck next time you go again.
